21.01.2022 In regards to the recent outbreak of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) we have been closely monitoring the situation over the past weeks and in particular the advice over the past 10 -14 days from all relevant health departments. At this point the GDFNL recommends: All clubs to cease group training in all sections until further notice. With discussion’s still happening re what the season may look like going forward is finalised. ... On behalf of the exec and general committee please continue to practice good health and safety practices All members of NGFNC will be notified if and when any further changes arise. Note: NGFNC season launch scheduled for Sunday March 29 has also been postponed

16.01.2022 Some great news your for Sunday afternoon the North Geelong Football and Netball Club is delighted to announce the signing of Brad Gerard for season 2021, Brad had a very successful junior career that includes multiple club & league best and fairest awards and being a part of the Geelong Falcons program, his senior career follows suit being a senior best and fairest winner and twice finishing in the top 5 of the Neville Whitley medal in the previous two seasons, a contested ball winner with outside polish Brad is going to slot in nicely into the black and white midfield, welcome aboard Brad, we are stoked to have you. In other great news 2020 recruits Jake Dalziel, Aaron Grant, Jacob and Reece Tompkins and Josh Widdison have committed for season 2021.

10.01.2022 It is with great pleasure the North Geelong Football and Netball Club would like to announce the signing of Jamie Phillis for season 2021, Philly brings with him a wealth of experience, commitment and leadership to the Nest, his attack on the ball and skill level is what sets him apart from the rest and is looking forward to getting stuck into pre season with the boys, Senior Captain, multiple TOTY and Interleague appearances just to name a few from an already successful career, welcome to the club Philly, we are stoked to have you on board In some more great news for the club the re signing of Luke Wilson and commitment of Jacob Bruns for season 2021, More to come!



09.01.2022 The good news keeps on coming!! We would love to welcome home Charlie Farrell for season 2021, Faz played all of his junior career in the Black and white whilst being a part of the Geelong Falcons program, premierships, club and league Best and Fairest were a regular occurrence at the business end of the year for Faz with a very successful junior resume, he then blossomed into our senior ranks until 2015 when he crossed to the GFL and become part of the Geelong VFL program, a contested ball winner with plenty of speed and polish, he also has a long family history with the North Geelong Football Club and we are absolutely stoked to have him back where he belongs, welcome home Faz.

We would love to welcome Jake Butcher for season 2021, Butch is a Tough, Relentless footballer with a very smart football brain, a reliable half back with the ability to run through the midfield, 100 senior games under his belt and hitting the peak of his career, former captain of division 1 colts side and keen to learn and grow as a leader and player, we are stoked to have you on bo...ard Butch and looking forward to season 2021. In further good news we would love to welcome back Tom Karacsay to the Nest, Tommy returns after a couple of years experience playing consistent senior footy after previously being a multiple Premiership player in the Black and White, Tommy can play a lock down role or running half back and has a never say die attitude every time he crosses the White line, welcome back Tommy, terrific to have you back!

The DEAN family is one of the most revered and respected in the 144-year history of the North Geelong Football Club. Five brothers from Thompson Road, North Geelong; Leo, Paddy, Kevin, Jack and Reg all left their mark and served with distinction both on and off the field.
