Aim to get the heel high and push through the 1st and 2nd toes Start with the double leg version and progress to single leg as able Add weight with a dumbbell for a greater challenge How many is dependent on what you're trying to achieve but 3x15 is a good general guide to start Tag a runner below who would benefit from this!

08.01.2022 Plantar Fasciitis Plantar Fasciitis is a painful condition causing heel pain. Plantar fasciitis accounts for approximately 10% of runner related injuries.... Strength training is effective in the treatment of plantar fasciitis, in conjunction with other treatment modalities to assist with a quicker reduction of pain and returning to full function. Below is an example of an exercise targeting the plantar fascia where a heel raise is completed with the big toe raised on a rolled up towel. If you’re suffering with heel pain consult your physiotherapist for a full assessment and individualised treatment program.
