25.01.2022 Today the North Haven Women’s Bowling Club celebrated their 65th Birthday. Due to COVID we had some restrictions but still managed to have an enjoyable day. A delicious lunch was served by the staff, very few visitors were allowed to attend, but we were able to have Chairman of the Board, Gary McLoughlin, and President of North Haven Bowling Club, Joe Leo, join us for lunch. Chad Single made a lovely celebration cake which was cut by President Joy Allen, Life Member Lyn Allport, and Patron Betty Chapman. After lunch the ladies went out and played some bowls, lots of fun and laughter could be heard on the greens and we were lucky with the weather too - predicted rain didn’t arrive.

22.01.2022 Winners of the Mixed Pairs, congratulations, Jess and Kim Ciampa. A tight match forcing an extra end. Well done also to Warren Murray and Gwen Saunders.

22.01.2022 Some of the action on the greens today. Great to see so many visitors despite the fact that we had to cancel our official Riverview Carnival. We hope they enjoy the rest of the week, and that we can run the Carnival bigger and better in 2021.

16.01.2022 The final of the NHWBC triples championship was played today. Congratulations to the winners Barbara Waddington, Janet Ross and Adele Pobje. The runners up were Sharyn Samels, Wilma Stedman and Janelle Pryke. Well done to all these ladies some great bowls were played.

15.01.2022 Today Les Allport and Graham Conen played in the Final of the Zone 14 Champion of Club Championship Pairs against Peter Stockham and Greg Brimms from Westport. The winners were Peter and Greg but it was a great match and Congratulations to all players.
