16.01.2022 HEALTHY CANTEENS AUSTRALIA run the NKPS canteen. The following message is from the General Manager. Many parents are phoning the school and asking to be put through to the canteen as they are not able to come into the school grounds. Whilst we understand that reduced interaction due to Covid is difficult, may I please ask that any calls be redirected instead to our Head Office on 9678 9242. Head Office can process late and changed orders or follow up any instances of items no...t received. The canteen system itself does not have this capability. This also gives us insight into any pattern or recurring issues so we can modify procedures as needed. We will contact the canteen outside of their busiest periods and still ensure all necessary changes are made.

06.01.2022 Dear Parents/Carers, Twelve months ago the school announced an innovative teaching and learning model aimed to challenge the status quo of primary education and seek ‘better ways’ in order to best develop in our students the knowledge and capabilities needed to be successful in an ever-changing world. Nearing the end of the year, we are excited to review our successes and learn from shortcomings. Your input into this process is critical. A survey has been developed which we h...ope all parents/carers who are familiar with our 2020 Model of Educational Excellence will complete. As a refresher, linked here (www.tinyurl.com/nkps2020model) is a broad overview of the model we have used in 2020 and linked here (www.tinyurl.com/nkps2020note) is my initial communication about the approach from December 2019. At the moment, we are collecting information from a range of sources to determine the overall success of our 2020 approach. This includes listening to parents, students and staff, and collecting information about student learning through assessments. A full report will be made available when the review is completed. Please take some time to complete the parent/carer survey, which is linked here (www.tinyurl.com/nkps2020survey) . The survey will remain open for two weeks, and close on 27 November 2020. Sincerely, Tom Moth Principal
