21.01.2022 Today we pause to remember, and pay our respects to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our nation. This years Remembrance Day also m...arks the 100th anniversary of the Armistice, which ended the First World War. Many of our surf life saving clubs and traditions today have been influenced by veterans returning from the war. Their legacies continue to live on in more ways than one; Lest we forget.

18.01.2022 Aurah from the Gold Coast is one of our many surf life saver volunteers who help keep our beaches safe. Surf clubs have taken a big hit to their fundraising eff...orts because of COVID, so we’ll invest $30 million to Surf Life Saving Queensland if re-elected. Queensland is home to some of the best beaches in the world. We want to give them the resources to keep all beachgoers safe. It’s all part of our plan.

As previously advised, we are not holding our annual fireworks community event this year but look forward to bringing it back again next year. Our thoughts are with those affected by the fires and we hope 2020 brings everyone plenty of hope and happiness.

15.01.2022 Unfortunately due to QFES Fire Bans, we are unable to hold our annual family fireworks on New Year's Eve, so there will be no event held downstairs at the Surf Club this year. We look forward to bringing the popular community event back in 2020. Our Supporters Club will be open and bookings are still available in the Bistro from 5.30pm. Live Entertainment with Nathan Trethewey from 8pm to Midnight. Hope to see you there!

14.01.2022 North Kirra SLSC will be once again hosting our annual New Year's Eve Family Fireworks on 31 December. BBQ, jumping castle and glowsticks will be available from 4pm with the fireworks going off at 7.30pm. Be sure to come on down and check it out and support our volunteer lifesavers. Plus our Supporters Club has 2 sittings available in the Bistro at 5pm and 7pm with a $45, 2 course limited choice set menu and a kids menu available at $15 per child. Bookings are essential for this and there is live entertainment with Straalen from 8pm to midnight. Hope to see you there!

05.01.2022 Nipper Sign Ons are this weekend - don't miss us at Palm Beach Pool on Saturday at 12pm or at Clem Jones Pool in Brisbane on Sunday from 10am.
05.01.2022 It's still not too late to join our nipper program. Our season this commences this Sunday but there is still time to join. You will need to have a pool proficiency completed for your child at a pool by an accredited person however, other than that, you can complete your memberships online and then be here starting on Sunday. Contact our Surf Club Office if you require any further information.

In a year like no other, every $ counts and will make a difference to assisting our volunteer lifesavers. One day you might need our assistance on the beach and we will be here to help.
