07.01.2022 Breathing Exercise # 2 Diaphragmatic Breathing. Belly Breathing can help you use your diaphragm properly. Do this exercise when you are feeling relaxed. Do this practice for 5 mins and work up to 10 mins.... For further gains practice 3-4 times daily. How to; 1. Lie down with knees slightly bent, rest your head on a pillow. 2. Place one hand on your upper chest and the other on your lower rib cage just above your diaphragm. 3. Slowly inhale through your nose feeling your stomach rise into your hand. 4. Exhale using pursed lips and tighten your stomach muscles. make sure your upper hand is completely still. 5. And repeat, when you are comfortable with this practice you can do it in an upright position. Enjoy!
