23.01.2022 Any assistance with this missing person (Peter Stanmore), since this morning would be greatly appreciated. Police are seeking public assistance to locate 65-year-old Peter Stanmore who has been missing from Narangba since this morning. Mr Stanmore (pictured) was last seen leaving a care facility on Young Road and walking towards Oakey Flat Road at around 11.20am.... Police and family hold concern for his welfare as he suffers a medical condition which may leave him disorientated. His disappearance is out of character. Peter is described as around 180cm tall with a fair complexion, short light brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing beige coloured shorts and a navy striped polo shirt with black sneakers. Anyone who may have seen Mr Stanmore or know his whereabouts is urged to come forward. https://mypolice.qld.gov.au//2020/11/26/missing-man-naran/

Border residents can apply for a border pass and travel around Queensland for any purpose, and Queenslanders can travel to those places as well. It’s an important step in supporting border communities and ensuring Queensland’s economy rebounds not the virus. Our strong borders have kept Queenslanders safe and allowed us to keep our economy going, businesses open and people working. 07.01.2022 FIRE STATION FUNDING FOR MANGO HILL/NORTH LAKES APPROVED At the Progress Association Meeting held on Wednesday night, State Member for Bancroft, Chris Whiting ...announced that the Government had approved funding for a Fire Station in the Mango Hill North Lakes area. This announcement follows years of the Mango Hill Progress Association advocating strongly and consistently for a Fire Station for the growing Mango Hill/North Lakes community. In February 2020 the Progress Association met with with Emergency Services Minister Craig Crawford to seek to convince the Minister and Senior Emergency Officers of the essential need for such a facility in our community given local population expansion. The Mango Hill Progress Association acknowledges the tenacity of Progress Member, Keith King for his consistent lobbying at meetings and State Members, Chris Whiting and Steven Miles for their advocacy on behalf of the community. In response to a question from the Chair as to "would the Fire station be built by 2024", Chris Whiting indicated that it would be operational within 2-3 years. The Association will be watching and waiting for the foundations to be laid, real soon. Picture: State Member Chris Whiting with Progress Member, Keith King to confirm announcement.
