23.01.2022 If you were fortunate enough to get some rain recently, be aware that this could result in an increase in tick activity. While there are some preventative measu...res available, diligence is still required - be alert for signs of limb paralysis, usually beginning in the back legs and progressing to the front, causing an unsteady or wobbly gait; paralysis, laboured breathing. If you suspect tick paralysis remove food and water and keep the alpaca calm. Vet treatment is a must if your alpaca is affected. See more

23.01.2022 Young Harlequin got shorn last week so we can now see all her spots (on spots). She was so good with her halter training today she will be ready to go to her new home when weaned.

13.01.2022 Our newest cria who is yet to be named. A big girl from a dark brown dam and white sire. I think she has just about every colour an alpaca can be! Appaloosa on her neck with various white, fawn, light and dark brown splotches with a bit of Roan for good measure!

01.01.2022 2 of our new additions to the Creekside herd. Creekside Denali with his long legs is 2 months old and the brown boy (yet to be named) is 1 week old. They are both sired by Arcady Diesel and are very similar in fleece characteristics and density.
