25.01.2022 Another one who couldn't wait to get out to Sydney Dragway and test was Timmy in his 2016 Mustang, this is the world's quickest manual NA S550 Mustang, he suffered the same fate with the track just not being there, was more a ice skate park than a motorsports park. He cuts consistent low 1.4 60' but the best he could manage on Saturday was in the 1.8's. No PB's being run it was good to see just how accurate the Dragy Performance Boxes are against the proper measuring system ...and well they are pretty bloody accurate, measuring almost exact ET's and MPH. We have been super impressed by Dragy, at only $200 they make a great measuring stick, plus you can even record your runs with the data displayed. We've included some of Timmy's time slips and Dragy data, check out just how close they are. We also have included video of some of Timmy's passes in the comments, check them out, this is one of the loudest, if not the loudest Mustang in the country. If you have never seen a Dragy, the video's show the Dragy on Timmy's dash, it is only about the size of a pack of cards
25.01.2022 Everybody loves a NA Barra + Turbo post, some because it gets to showcase how good the Barra engine is in all it's forms and others because they get to use awesome emoji's like or The most common question or critique we get is "how long is that gonna last?" And, to answer as bluntly and honestly as we can "we don't f###ing know" there's way too many variables all we can do is tune the car the best to our ability and it lives a long life. If things were guaranteed to not ...fail, brand new products wouldn't come with a warranty. We have tuned dozens of NA + Turbo Barra's over the years and we can only tell you what we know about them and how long they've been going. Our workshop ute has ticked over 2 years and 20000km+, without hurting the motor, it's broke the 5R55 gearbox, a diff and a few axles, but, touch wood the junker NA Barra motor is still going strong. This has an FG NA motor, with a set of our baby cams, aftermarket valve springs, billet oil pump gear and a Procharge Turbochargers billet turbo on a modified factory exhaust manifold with Turbosmart 50mm wastegate and twin Race Port BOV's . The XSpurt 1000cc injectors are tapped making 422rwkw/565rwhp on our Dyno Dynamics chassis dyno and 467rwkw/626rwhp on our Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers hub dyno this is through a TH400 gearbox (we saw 55rwkw less power going from the 5R55 factory box to the TH400) We use a Haltech Elite Pro Barra plug-in for tuning, which allows us to add some safety features and extra sensors so we can datalog/monitor exactly what we want to, the more we can log, the more we learn. In closing as of today the ute is still going, tomorrow well who knows Feel free to ask us any questions or leave whatever emoji's you like, we personally like the kittykat and food emoji's.
24.01.2022 https://youtu.be/nvjwQKU2rCQ Check out this great video from the team at plazmaman.com of Amien's VK747 doing a couple of low boost shakedown passes @ Sydney Dragway a few weeks ago to get some track data logs, with only a soft launch 1.87 60ft (has done 1.2 60fts previously) the VK still went low 9's @ 158mph. Amien recently swapped to a Plazmaman intercooler, the old intercooler was seeing a considerably high amount of pressure drop (boost pressure from hot side to cold side) we saw 6psi less pressure drop with the Plazmaman cooler. With results like these, that is why we use and recommend Plazmaman.
22.01.2022 Barra swapped TE Cortina in to have some issues resolved and for tuning. The Cortina has a MoTeC M150 ECU, high-comp Atomic Performance Products 998GT engine, Garrett - Advancing Motion GTX42 and plazmaman.com intake manifold. We started seeing high converter slip on the dyno with the Corty making 616kw/827hp and 1152nm of torque at the hubs on 22psi E85. Looking forward to seeing this run over the 1/4 when the converter gets tightened.

Michael took our 1100rwhp/820rwkw Twin Turbo Mustang out for a test drive, he was a good boy, he didn't leave any skid marks on the road, we aren't too sure about his undies though His big brother is so proud, even got a video of him driving, awww how sweet video in comments
14.01.2022 We had a visit at the shop from a friend of ours Todd, he is selling the engine and blower combo out of his Mustang and wanted to get a dyno figure for it. This is currently the quickest and fastest supercharged S550 Mustang in the country running a 9.64@145mph. This is a factory Gen2 Coyote with billet oil pump gears. It has a VMP 2.3L Blower, only 15000kms on the clock. This would make a perfect combo for another S550 Mustang or something to go into an old skool muscle car,... like an X-Series Falcon, Capri or Cortina or if you are game a Holden We'll get Todd to comment in the post so you can PM him for more details. We'd love to see this sell soon as his new setup is going to be something special and quicker this sells, quicker he can get onto it. We got our hub dyno after Sydney Dragway closed, we are seeing a 10-20% difference in power numbers from cars on our chassis dyno to the hub (hub showing higher). This also gave us a good opportunity to see what sort of % of drivetrain loss a car would see over the 1/4 mile as 1/4 mile ET/MPH is calculated by engine horsepower. Todd has only done a handful of passes in the car, the best being a [email protected] weighing 4070lbs/1850kg. The 60' wasn't the best and the ET is a few tenths off but the MPH is there, the engine is showing an average 950hp/698kw to run 145mph @ 4070lbs, the Mustang is a 6-speed auto, and made 814rwhp/607rwkw, so taking off the 950hp engine, we see that as about a 15% drivetrain loss, engine to hubs that the car is seeing. Obviously, we need to get a few more cars together to get more detail, but, it's a good start we can measure more off.
14.01.2022 Timmy's S550 Mustang is getting ready for another assault on the strip when Sydney Dragway opens again in a few weeks to try and better his NA S550 MT82 Manual World Record of 10.54@134mph. After 100+ 7000rpm+ 2-step launches and spinning the engine to over 8500rpm the motor was seeing some valve float, while we had the valve covers off to do the valve springs, we put ARP head studs in also, future proofing it for big boost. A few other secret squirrel mods and lightening, with the Lund Sauce tune making 392rwkW/526rwhp on our Mainline hub dyno with United E85, going off the ET/MPH/Weight over the 1/4 mile, the engine is showing over 450kW/600hp @ the flywheel, that's about a 140kW/200hp gain from factory. 13.01.2022 How good is it seeing a customer enjoying their car and getting a new PB. We tuned Matt's manual supercharged FG GS Falcon over 5 years ago, it made 420rwkw on 98-octane and 450rwkw on E85. Matt recently ran an 11.4@129mph, with only a 1.9 60' and still on the stock factory clutch. Being a big heavy car it's hard to get these boats out of the hole, especially being a manual on a big wheel and low profile street tyre. With a sticky Mickey Thompson radial tyre we look forward to times tumbling and hopefully no parts breaking. Well done Matt.

10.01.2022 We are privileged and honoured to get to work on some very cool and elite quality build cars, 2 of such are 50SIXX and BORITO. We got to tune these 2 immaculately built, very different cars. 50SIXX with a nu-skool LS 6.0 EFI conversion with a Magnusson 1.9L blower and 6L80E 6-speed auto transmission and BORITO a small block Chevy with a 6/71 blower and twin Holley 750 carby's (yes, we can tune carburettors too) Great to see the cars getting enjoyed at Summernats Slam with 50SIXX even contesting for Grand Champion and making it into the top 10. Well done to all involved in both builds, you done a killer job.
09.01.2022 Happy Birthday to our little cherub faced Nicholas, we don't even know how old he is, because he hasn't aged a day (definitely put on a fair few kg though) since he started his apprenticeship here about 13 years ago. We always get alot of males calling and coming into the shop after we post pics of Nick, please guys don't tempt Nick anymore, he has a girlfriend. 09.01.2022 Out with the old Miami in with the new, we installed a Gen2 Coyote (2015-2017 Mustang motor) and MFP Australia 2.3L TVS blower into this FPV FG GS. With a few mods needed the engine is running through the factory ECU, we tuned it with PCMTEC, it made 489rwkw/657rwhp 10-11psi on 98-octane. We also installed a Pirotta Performance flex fuel kit and tuned it on E85, 10-11psi making 530rwkw/711rwhp and 13-14psi 567rwkw/761rwhp on our Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers hub dyno
07.01.2022 Sydney Dragway has finished renovations and opening back up this week, Tarek couldn't wait to give his twin turbo 2019 Mustang a workout on the track and a workout was what it got with Tarek making 11-12 passes over the 1/4. Now on E85 and running between 10.5-12psi boost, with it being a fresh track with no glue and rubber down it was just spinning, we all know spinning ain't winning but he still managed to run a best of [email protected] over the 1/4 with a 1.8 60', this is ...full weight 1930kg/4250lbs and running big 20'' tyres on the front. A great effort by Tarek on a terrible track. We look forward to seeing what it will do on a sticky track, we are confident the ET's will tumble into the mid-high 9's and will mph in the 145-148mph zone. Couple video's in the comments

03.01.2022 Our hearts belong to drag racing, but, how good is it when an owner can enjoy their car no matter where it is. Michael in his immaculate R32 V-Spec coming in a little too high power and drifting out of it. We built and tuned this engine 18 months ago with a prototype PRP alloy main cap brace, as PRP state they want to get in and have a look how their part is going, but Michael's having wayyyy too much fun. 03.01.2022 Gary's immaculate Datsun 1600 beast in for a tune. Running a freshly built high comp Spool Imports 2.2L stroker FJ20, Garrett - Advancing Motion 67mm T4 turbo feeding the boost into the motor through a CPC - Custom Plenum Creations intake manifold. The engine is controlled by a Microtech LT10S ECU, the lil Datto knocked out a massive 540rwkw/724rwhp on our Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers hub dyno, with only 26psi on United E85. Unfortunately, the Bosch 1650cc injectors and the turbo are tapped out, so we won't get to see what it will make with more boost and RPM just yet. Dyno run in the comments..

01.01.2022 we'd like to introduce you to Popcorn & Marshmallow the Toyota Yaris GR's. Soon as we saw these lil cars we knew we had to get one, we weren't disappointed, they are little pocket rockets 200kw 3-cylinder turbo and all wheel drive. We aren't back at work yet till the 18th, but our first task was new 18x9.5 wheels and Federal 255 semi-slicks on all 4 corners. Next job, work on making it sound better, so we made a catback exhaust (we will be doing full turbo back in the coming weeks or days if Nick is bored ) As no full tuning options are available as of yet, we can't push too hard with mods on the factory ECU (we are hoping factory ECU tuning will be released soon) we will do the whole barrage of dyno and track testing every mod, so keep an eye out.
01.01.2022 We aren't just a tune or mechanical shop here @ NAC, we also do fabrication work in-house (turbo kits, headers, hot and cold side turbo piping and much more) Just finishing off this Mercedes-Benz A250 AWD with a custom stainless exhaust system, before we tune it up. We might be a bit biased but we think it looks pretty damn good!
01.01.2022 FPV FG F6 in for some mods. We installed a Walbro 525 in-tank pump, Bosch 1000cc injectors, did a flapper mod, Process West Stage 3 Intercooler, airbox and XForce Performance Exhaust 4" turbo-back exhaust . This is an auto with 150,000km. The engine is untouched, still running the factory valve springs (this is the very next mod ) tuned via PCMTEC the F6 made 411rwkw/551rwhp @ 16psi on 98-octane
