23.01.2022 At tonight's meeting, Mark spoke on the evidence of censorship in the time of Shakespeare, Diana gave a practice talk on St Patrick for a future class presentation and Steve presented on lunch at 4000m from his recent trip to Nepal. For table topics, Peter, Diana, Kim, Lucy, Mark and Steve then recommended various obscure sports for inclusion in the Olympic games.

23.01.2022 This evening, Karen gave a speech and Peter demonstrated the Free Toast Host system for signing up for roles. We then had two rounds of table topics, with Edward, Lucy, Kevin, Mark, Nathan and Letian in the first and Kevin, Karen, Letian, Edward and Abi in the second. Our guest, Letian, won both Best Table Topic rounds. Edward gave us a general evaluation, sharing with us his experience of other clubs.

22.01.2022 Tonight, Mark gave a speech on the life of Don McLeod, Peter gave a practice talk for university on self-harm and Steve spoke on the life of Fredrick Douglas. Steve, Claire, Andres, Josy, Lachlan and Diana gave table topics talks. Our division director, Claire, visited and gave our general evaluation.

15.01.2022 Last night, Lachlan gave his icebreaker and Steve gave an educational speech on impromptu speaking. Everyone had a go at table topics.

13.01.2022 At this evening's meeting, Mark gave a talk about Shakespeare's autobiographical The Two Noble Kinsmen, Lucy told us about her love of Eurovision and Peter provided an explanation of the club executive and encouraged people to nominate. For table topics, Diana, Peter, Lorette, Lackie and Lei gave excuses for various imaginary indiscretions.

04.01.2022 Various illnesses took their toll on our numbers tonight, but Mark gave a speech on Gaza and we ran two rounds of table topics at which everyone had a go. Both the pick-a-coin-and-tell-us-what-in-the-year-it-was-made and the tell-us-a-story-that-starts-with-this-line topic worked well. It was a fun night for those that were there.

02.01.2022 We celebrated the twentieth anniversary of the club this evening with speeches, coffee, cake, cheese, dips and biscuits. Lorette told us why we should get off the couch, Diana suggested twenty ways to spend twenty dollars, Steve described a twenty-day trip to Annapurna and Mark told us about the use of infinitives is Pericles and what it suggested about the authorship. Peter, Karen, Mark, Kevin, KJ, Diana, Siheed and Nicole gave table topics talks related to the topic twenty.
