15.01.2022 I recieved the most decadent gift from a very beautiful student. I dont think I've enjoyed a bath so much!

13.01.2022 Here’s to a braver 2017... At the close of every year I ask myself four questions: 1. What do I want more of in my life?... 2. How do I let go of what’s no longer serving me? 3. What will make me feel more alive? Braver? 4. At the end of every day and at the end of every year, I need to know that I contributed more than I criticized. How have I contributed and what will that look like moving forward? Despite the divisiveness and hateful rhetoric (and actions) that have marked the past two months, I still believe that we are more the same than we are different. As I reflect on my answers to these questions, I have to believe that many of you share these yearnings: I want more joy, more connection, more courage and more love. Fear, judgment, and exhaustion are no longer serving me. Nothing makes me feel more alive than joy. I’ve struggled with this because I haven’t been practicing gratitude as much as I would like to, and I know that gratitude is the foundation of joy. I think I contributed by speaking my truth while trying to be respectful, and I was brave even when it meant taking hits from critics and cynics. As we head into the new year, I made a big decision at COURAGEworks to start with a new parenting collection that focuses on how we raise courageous children and build messy, beautiful, wholehearted families. I hope you’ll join me as we enter into a braver 2017, where together, we will transform the way we raise our children and make the world a braver place. 05.01.2022 Calling all Senior students... have you considered a learning coach? Keep your goals on track...

01.01.2022 Teenagers...Some important things you need to understand about life: 1. It doesn’t get easier. You learn to deal with things. Bad things happen. How you handle it shows your true character. 2. Life isn’t fair! FOR ANYONE!! Bad things happen everyday to someone somewhere. 3. You are not better than anyone else. And no one is better than YOU. ... 4. Learn to laugh at yourself. You’re always going to do something embarrassing. 5. Money buys things, not happiness. 6. Your time is more precious than any amount of gold. 7. Friends come and go. The ones that stick around are now your family. 8. Say you’re sorry and mean it. 9. Don’t lie. It only makes you look foolish and ruins your name. 10. Be kind everyday. It is a choice and it’s a good one. 11. Love someone. With all you have. 12. Live a life your mum would be proud of. 13. Everywhere you go, someone is not going to like you. Most of the time it’s because you have something they don’t. Let that be kindness. 14. Be smart. Sure, school is absolutely important but I’m talking about LIFE smart! Know how to cook. Know how to change your tyre and fuel the car. Know how to get through life if you had no one else to help you. You’ll be grateful for the skills later. Because at some point, you may actually be on your own. 15. Never let someone make you feel like you’re less than what you are and what you are is wonderful! 16. Get off your butts and go out and see the beauty of the world. There’s so many things near and far that are way better than any video game or movie. 17. Invest in yourself. Eat that piece of cake, read that novel, travel to that little hole in the wall place you’ve always wanted to see!! Experiences are far better than anything you can buy. 18. Find joy. Let go of hate and resentment. 19. Allow yourself to be filled with curiosity and wonder. 20. Know that you are loved. Your parents love you. Your true friends love you. Know you are worth more than gold to a King. A love that can’t be measured. Copy and paste for a teenager you love
