25.01.2022 This week students participated in activities that shared the message for NAIDOC week 2020 Always was, Always will be. Students had so much fun making damper, painting, decorating cookies, puzzle making, listening to story time and having a good yarn. ... We have all had such a great week learning together!



24.01.2022 Cross Country Carnival 2021! Despite a little bit of rain, our Cross Country Carnival went ahead and was a great success. A HUGE thank you to our amazing parent helpers, we could not have done it without you.... And lastly a very big thank you to our amazing students. Each and every one of you showed outstanding sportsmanship whilst following The North Nowra Way at all times! Well done everyone!

23.01.2022 Lest We Forget!

23.01.2022 There has been some magic happening here at North Nowra Public School. A few weeks ago Ms Collin set up an incubator and 35 eggs in Mrs Green's classroom and 1/2G is thrilled to announce that 18 little chickens have hatched! Thank you Ms Collin for bringing this amazing experience to our school!!... We sure do love our little animals here at NNPS.

16.01.2022 Ascent Footware visited North Nowra Public School students in K-2 to host their Lace Tying Lessons in partnership with The Athlete's Foot. These shoe lace tying lessons will not only help children learn an important life skill, but it will also assist in developing their fine motor skills and help create independence. Thank you Paul for visiting our school and showing us how to tie our shoe laces.

15.01.2022 This term Visual Arts has been a major focus across North Nowra Public School. Last week we celebrated all students art work by participating in an Art Gallery walk around the school. Well done students! ... Every single piece of art work is unique, inspirational and tells a story.

League Stars is run before or after school for primary school aged children over a period of 4 - 6 weeks.... 15.01.2022 Today we had our first transition for Kindergarten 2021 and they were absolutely AMAZING! They all had a wonderful day and made lots of new friends. Mrs Dowse and Mrs Green can't wait to see you all again next week.

12.01.2022 Wednesday Week 5 will be a day of Commemoration and celebration! NNPS will pause to remember the fallen for Remembrance Day and then celebrate the rich diverse cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. Things to remember: ... Wear you favourite red, black, yellow, blue, green, white mufti (with closed in shoes and sleeves) Bring a gold coin donation for the National Indigenous Literacy progam. Be ready to cook, dance and be creative! Can't wait for a great day of learning together at NNPS!

09.01.2022 Welcome back to what is going to be a great term 4. We have lots of fun and exciting things happening this term and it all starts this Friday with Dance2bfit. Dance2bfit is an energetic, innovative and fun way to get fit and funky with the latest dance styles to the hottest music tracks.... This is a great program to improve the fitness levels of students while they are having a great time. Professional dance instructors will visit our school once a week to teach the students fun, funky dance moves that will improve coordination and create opportunities for students to gain self-esteem and confidence. Let the fun begin!

02.01.2022 Remembrance Day 2020 Each year on this day Australians observe a one minute silence at 11am, in memory of those who died or suffered in all wars and armed conflicts. As part of today's Remembrance Service we recognised Ernest Licey who served in the First World War and returned to Australia and lived out the rest of his life in Ulladulla. ... Uncle Tom and one of our year 6 leaders, Jye unveiled the memorial plaque that is now part of our Military Commemoration Garden. Thank you to Uncle Tom for attending today and always supporting our school during NAIDOC week.
