Our State Government introduced laws to reshape Lotterywest grants as the COVID-19 pandemic hit - making sure grants are targeted at the most vulnerable and those in need during this time. It's great to see additional funding on the Housing First approach: if we are to end rough sleeping in the city we need to pursue this proven way forward that has worked in other countries around the world.

03.01.2022 Arson Squad detectives are attempting to identify the man pictured, as it may assist their investigation into a suspicious fire that occurred in North Perth on ...Thursday 14 May 2020. About 3.20am, police were advised of a fire at businesses located on Angove Street. Department of Fire and Emergency Services attended and extinguished the fire. The fire caused extensive damage to a homewares store and also caused damage to a neighbouring motorcycle and accessories store. The damage bill is estimated at $300,000. Two people were seen riding bicycles in the area around the time of the fire and police are asking them to come forward as well as any members of the public who were driving in the area between 2.30am and 4am, who have dash-cam vision. Anyone with information regarding this fire, or who can identify the man pictured, is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au. People providing information to Crime Stoppers may remain anonymous if they wish. Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
