As the breed suggests Parko will require daily exercise and mental stimulation to keep him happy and occupied. If he’s not inside cooling down, he’s off doing laps of the yard, playing with his soft toy which he likes to throw in the air and chase after. Parko was surrendered after his previous owner had to pay for him to have rocks removed from his stomach, not one, but twice! (and there were unfortunately plenty more where they came from). He’s been good in foster care, although adequate care and attention will need to be provided to make sure it doesn’t happen again. Parko is great with other dogs, and seemingly good with cats. He does love to chase birds (unsure about poultry), but this seems to more about giving himself something to do. Although Parko is a year old, he’s still very much a puppy and requires further training. He would be a great dog for someone wanting to venture into agility or similar. We would like Parko to rehomed with another dog, as he’s always lived with other dogs, and preferably someone with knowledge of working breeds. 01.01.2022 Check out this TRANSFORMATION! Zac first came into care with NQAR late November. His skin and fur weren’t in the best condition and he really needed some love and care.
