25.01.2022 I'm up in arms with this, another committee that is out of touch with Central, North and Far North Queensland. The state of Queensland doesn't stop just North o...f Maryborough there is another 1400kms of Bruce highway that stretches all the way to Cairns. It concerns me how South East Centric our current government is. How can they be so out of touch with the regions that allow them to build the megacity of Brisbane It has to end now. Central, North and Far North Queensland deserve proper representation its time to fix our Bruce highway! It is also worth noting that North Queensland First recently announced our $2b Roads to Revival package strictly for North, Far North & Central Queensland... with projects including major upgrades to the Bruce to be paid for by mining royalties from our backyard. Of course, this is all subject to us securing enough seats at the State Election on October 31 which means securing the balance of power. That means myself and the people that make up the NQ first team such as Jason Costigan MP, Leader, NQ First & Member for Whitsunday, Carolyn Moriarty - NQ First Candidate for Burdekin, Desmond Tayley - NQ First Candidate for Cook & Jason Borg - NQ First Candidate for Mirani being elected. It’s up to you.

25.01.2022 Our transport industry carries our state and wider country, without it the nation will come to a grinding halt. Who is standing up for them? Well, that has co...me to an end our backbone industries have been left to pay for the bill of South-East Brisbane and have not been looked after. I say enough is enough! Let's sort out our Bruce Highway! Let's sort out our Flinders Highway! Let's sort out our Landsbourgh Highway! We have to start looking after our regional areas because currently, they are falling into disrepair. NQ First announced our Roads to Revival program that saw many visionary projects along the mighty Bruce Highway. We also announced our ‘Bitumen for the Bush’ program that will see many of our dirt roads turned into bitumen. After all, it is 2020! Our road network is costing transport companies thousands of dollars every week in repairs. The time has come to sort it out!
