I'm certainly feeling the good energy and positive vibes for a speedy recovery. Burdekin is an agricultural region an hour drive south of Townsville. Its a fishing and bird watching paradise. Sweet Days Hot Nights Festival is on this Thursday to Saturday in the Burdekin, it's a delight for all ages. Be sure to check it out if you haven't been to the region before

Enduring the 2019 Townsville Floods and 2020 Covid-19 haven’t been ideal for a small business building their foundations however we’re hopeful of a strong 2021 for our local tourism industry. 06.01.2022 Amazing shots of Little Crystal Creek by Matt Brooks aka Waterfall WORLD This beautiful mountain location began drawing tourists from as early as 1902. In 1913 there was a declaration of a township at Cloudy Clearing, with the joint purpose of protecting the rainforest and developing a sanatorium. ... The area became a popular tourist destination after WW2 and a series of guest houses were built despite very poor road access. In 1930 it was declared a tourist road and construction began under the Unemployment Relief Scheme during the Great Depression. The bridge is a masonry arch dressed in stone considered an extravagance at the time.
