23.01.2022 Ringwood & District Cricket Association - Special General Meeting Outcome On the back on the Yarra Valley Cricket Associations vote last week to seek a merger ...with the Ringwood & District Cricket Association, The RDCA tonight held a Special General Meeting for all Clubs, Delegates and Life Members to cast their vote on the acceptance of this proposal. I am pleased to announce that the resolution to allow the YVCA to merge with the RDCA was passed unanimously. On behalf of the RDCA, I would like to welcome all YVCA Clubs, Members, Life Members, Players and every single YVCA club volunteer to the RDCA family. 15.01.2022 PRESENTATION NIGHT | A big thank you to everyone who attended last night and contributed to such a fantastic event.. Congratulations to all of the awards winners for your achievements over the past two season’s LIFE MEMBERSHIP | Last night we proudly announced the induction of 3 new life members. This honour has been bestowed to only 39 other individuals since our clubs establishment in 1935. ... Congratulations to Simon Gray, Geoff Gray and Steve Pearse. Thank you for your service and contribution to our great club. Thanks to Chirnside Park Country Club - We can all agree the Venue, food and atmosphere was great! We have planned some fun events throughout the winter so please keep your eyes out for more information on the NRCC Golf Day (23rd May) and the return of NRFC/NRCC Winter Luncheon down at Quambee Reserve. For now let’s all take a well deserved break and start to recharge the batteries for a bigger and better 2021/2022 season. Go Bulls

09.01.2022 Introducing Una Raymond-Hoey We are so thrilled to announce that we have secured the services of Una Raymond-Hoey to provide specialist training sessions with our junior teams during the 2020/2021 season. Una is an Irish cricketer who represents Ireland and plays at the Ringwood Cricket Club.... Una has played in two Women's One Day International cricket matches, both against South Africa during their August 2016 tour. An opening batter, she scored 25 on her debut at the Malahide Cricket Club Ground. In November 2018, she was named the International Emerging Player of the Year at the annual Cricket Ireland Awards and in May 2019, she was named in Ireland's Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) squad for their series against the West Indies. She made her WT20I debut for Ireland against the West Indies on 26 May 2019. In August 2019, Una was named in Ireland's squad for the 2019 ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier tournament in Scotland and in July 2020, she was awarded a contract by Cricket Ireland for the following year. We are so excited about the about the benefit Unas’ appointment will bring to all of our junior players and look forward to welcoming Una to our club. Welcome to the Bulls

08.01.2022 Having been able to finally pick up our Senior and Junior Premierships and Trophies from last season, we have been working on how to celebrate a truly unique achievement. A Trollope Shield 1st XI Premiership won by an entirely home grown team - all 12 players having come through the juniors at North Ringwood. We think this photo sums up everything that is special about our magnificent club and we look forward to seeing future generations of North Ringwood juniors achieve what Michael, Simon and the 1st XI managed to do in season 19/20.

08.01.2022 We are very pleased to share the news that synthetic run-ups have been installed for the centre wicket at North Ringwood Reserve. With 18 teams using the ground every week for training and up to 6 games per week, the grass on the run-ups never stood a chance in the summer. Please join us in thanking Cr Nora Lamont Wonga Ward Maroondah City Council and the wider Maroondah Council for fully funding this greatly needed project.

These are based on the current state government restrictions easing in the coming weeks/month. (Fingers Crossed) ... Proposed Training Start Date: 26th October 2020 Proposed Start Date : 14th November 2020 In preparation for the season we're working through various scenarios to ensure we hit the ground running. Keep your eye out for further updates regarding training from Senior Coach, Simon Gray this weekend. In the meantime thank you to all that have responded to the Pre-Registration Form - We've had over half of the playing group respond which is great to see.
