25.01.2022 STEP 1: Order merch through Team App and pay online. STEP 2: Team Managers will pick up all pre packaged orders through a drive through service at NRR on Friday July 17th and distribute to families at training or make other arrangements with individual families if required. STEP 3: Try on merch at home. If a size change is required, send an email with details of what you need to [email protected]... STEP 4: A second drive through date will be announced for the following week for size swaps that have been pre arranged. All this has to happen before round one in less than a month! 24.01.2022 Congratulations to the winners of the NRJFC 2020 Footy Tipping Competition! In first place with an impressive 107 winning tips is U14 Saint, Sam Jones. First prize was free 2021 registration but Sam is keen to swap it for a voucher instead, because after all, rego is his folks problem. Fair enough Sam! 2nd place and $150 Rebel voucher goes to Damian Deckert with 102 winning tips.... 3rd place and $100 club merch voucher goes to Janine Wilson with 100 winning tips. 23.01.2022 JOINT STATEMENT 2020 COMPETITIONS CANCELLED The Eastern Football Netball League, in conjunction with the Northern Football Netball League, Essendon District Football League, Western Region Football League and South East Juniors wishes to issue a statement regarding the 2020 season. Following the State Government’s announcement of a return to Stage 3 restrictions in metropolitan Melbourne for six weeks commencing July 9, the EFNL, NFNL, EDFL, WRFL and SEJ have collectively ...decided to cancel all football and netball competitions for the 2020 season. The common view was shared that cancelling all competitions for the 2020 season was the only viable decision in the best interest of all clubs, participants, and the wider community. All leagues and their member clubs have a clear obligation to prioritise the health and safety of all participants and their families during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as a duty to minimise the burden on all club volunteers during this unprecedented time. The leagues are committed to working closely with their member clubs, AFL Victoria, and Netball Victoria to manage the associated issues related to the cancellation of all 2020 competitions and working towards a return to play next season. We wish to take this opportunity to thank all clubs, players, parents, volunteers, officials, umpires and league partners for their patience, support and understanding throughout these challenging times. Please stay safe and we urge all associated with our respective communities to heed the advice and regulations in place by order of the State Government. We all have a role to play in ensuring our community remains safe and healthy and that we can all return to football and netball next season. All clubs are reminded that club-sanctioned training and events are prohibited until August 19, as per Stage 3 restrictions. Further updates will be provided in due course via your respective league.

18.01.2022 Matt Castles is creating Saints champions of the future (including his very own Sam ‘Superboot’ Castles) with his 3 years coaching Auskick, then U8s last year and now U9s in 2020. Of course Matt is all about the kids having fun first and foremost, but let’s hope he can pass on his knack of collecting silverware as well! Matt has brought home no less than 6 Premiership wins for the mighty North Ringwood Saints. Yep... 6! Check it out: 1998 U18 Premiership... 2006 Reserves Premiership 2012 Seniors Premiership (kicking the sealer in the last quarter by the way) 2015, 2016, 2017 Vets Premierships x 3! Wow. Leon Davis - an absolute superstar and a 2 time All-Australian at either end of the ground Day Job? I am a Leading Firefighter with the MFB What are your coaching highlights? Apart from seeing the boys really develop their skills and knowledge of the game, as well as bond as a team and the sheer enjoyment they all showed throughout the year of 2019, I would say the way my Assistant Coach, Scott Charles held the white board was pretty impressive. We also uncovered an elite talent for goal umpiring amongst some parents - particularly Alvin Cummins. Is there a coach or mentor in your past that you looked up to? Why? Robert De Niro in Any Given Sunday, such inspirational words before the last game to get the team to heal as a team, rather than crumble. The inches we need are everywhere around us! Such an inspiring man! What are you looking forward to about coaching in 2020? Seeing the Under 9 teams further develop their skills and love for the game. Also our team runner, Brett Sledge, maybe breaking into a run during games. And listening to fellow Under 9 coach Grant Aitken give his inspirational words of wisdom at training to the boys. Hobbies? Interests? Talents? Spending time with my wonderful family. Ive also recently taken up dirt bike riding and I love the beach and outdoors. Favourite Quote? RETURNING PLAYERS Please follow the link with this post to confirm your registration and pay the $30 COGS (canteen, operations, grounds, social) admin fee to lock in your Saints place for 2021. ... With registration fees rolling over from 2020, the only additional payment required is the $18 EFNL Insurance fee which can also now be paid through this same link. 14.01.2022 Due to restrictions out of our control, we’ve had to devise a new way for everyone to get all the NRJFC merch they need. Team App is our answer. There will be an announcement soon about when you can actually order (we’re working like crazy to get it all happening) but please download Team App now so you’re ready to go. Run Against Violence takes a grassroots approach to starting conversations about family violence prevention. Their mission is to engage all Australians in a positive conversation about family violence, to remove the stigma and barriers that prevent people asking for help. 16% of women (1.5 million) and 5.9% of men (528,800) have ...experienced physical violence from a partner since they were 15. More than 1 million Australian children are affected by domestic and family violence. Almost one in 10 Australian women in a relationship have experienced domestic violence during the coronavirus crisis, with two-thirds saying the attacks started or became worse during the pandemic. 13.01.2022 Dear NRJFC Families, As you will no doubt be aware, the State Government has announced today, Metropolitan Victoria will return to Stage 3 lock down. The impacts of this will be far reaching and include community sport, which leads me to make the following formal statement on behalf of the club. All NRJFC club related activity, including training, will cease effective immediately, including training this evening. I also note, this includes any small group activity arranged a...s a team by a team official. We have received formal notification from the EFNL to support our statement and they have conditioned all clubs to anticipate the cancellation of all games for the 2020 season. The EFNL will provide an updated statement in the next day or two. We understand this will generate a lot of discussion regarding player fee’s etc. This communication is not to provide detail as to our position relating to fee’s moving forwards, it has been prepared to ensure all our members have formal notification of the current status, more information will flow through in the coming days as the Executive Committee steps through our CV19 strategy. I do note, anyone who has recently placed orders for Merchandise through TeamApp, will be refunded on request. For those looking to retain their orders with the view of using the merch for gifts or the like, we will keep in contact once we gain future access to the clubrooms where the merch is currently stored. Please contact [email protected] Whilst this is not the outcome we had all wanted for our children, we support the Government announcement and EFNL position in regards to the safety of our members and their families. There have been so many people working hard to get us to a point where we were confident we could deliver a great experience for Saints20 under the challenging conditions. Within our disappointment, we should also celebrate the great community spirit which drove so hard to get over 430 players on the training field and ready to play come round 1. I would like to personally thank everyone for your contribution and even without a season to play, again the NRJFC community shows why we are such a strong club. Please be patient in regards to further announcements and I can assure you all the Executive and General Committee, with the support of our Team Officials, will continue to work on behalf of our members in staying connected across Saints20. YOU CAN KEEP THE ORDER ACTIVE Once we're allowed access back to the rooms where the merch is currently stored (hopefully after the 6 week lockdown restrictions are lifted) we will fill your order. It’s a great opportunity to pop aside bday or Xmas gifts over the off season . If you happen to need a size up before footy kicks off again, exchanges can be arranged for unworn items.... 2. YOU CAN CANCEL YOUR ORDER AND RECEIVE A REFUND You'll need to email [email protected] with your name and order number, plus your account details (account name, account number and bsb number) PLEASE NOTE: If your circumstances allow, please consider avoiding a refund because the club is charged for processing fees.
