23.01.2022 We are consistently busy at the practice as you are all well aware, however our flu clinics have now finished. If you did not book into one of our flu clinics to have your injection it's not too late....phone reception to make an appointment with your doctor. NSW Health is predicting once again it is going to be a particularly bad flu season this year, so consider getting the whole family vaccinated. Of course any decision should be made in consultation with your doctor and is dependent on your personal circumstances. Call now for your appointment.

22.01.2022 Proud to show you all the poster used to advertise the Australasian Diabetes Congress in August this year! Congratulations to our wonderful patients who featured on the poster and to all our patients who have joined the walking group thus far. I can’t believe how many of you have lived in the area for so long and are still blown away by all the places you are discovering for the first time, not to mention the exercise, fun and friendship we’ve seen develop. If you’d like to join our walking group, speak to the girls at reception
20.01.2022 We are continuing to monitor the COVID-19 situation daily and would like to reassure our patients that we are continuing to provide a safe environment for your health care during this unprecedented time. All patients who are being seen at the surgery, have been screened before arrival to ensure they are not displaying symptoms or have been in an at-risk situation in the past 14 days. Our staff are maintaining the highest level of infection control within the practice and are ...cleaning three times each day with constant maintenance in between. All visitors are required to hand wash on arrival and before departure. Social distancing is being enforced by ensuring our waiting room chairs are spaces well apart and all patients have the option to wait for their appointment outside in the fresh air. The telephone consultation item number provided by the government for at risk patients is now in place. If you meet any of the following criteria please phone the surgery for your phone consultation, to avoid contact with others thus reducing your risk. -patients over 70 years of age -patients who have a known chronic disease (no matter your age) -patients who are currently self isolating -patients who have been diagnosed with the virus and are NOT in hospital -patients who are pregnant -patients who have a child under 12 months of age -patients who are of Aboriginal or Torres Strait origin and are over 50 years of age We are NOT testing for COVID-19 at our surgery. If you a worried you may be displaying signs of the virus please phone the hotline for direction on 1800 020 080. If you are directed back to your doctor, he/she will speak with you directly to determine if you require screening. You will be directed to a testing facility and we will fax your referral directly. Please note that not all testing facilities collect in the same way so you must phone them for directions prior and book an appointment. This may take several days and you should immediately self isolate until your appointment. Patients displaying serious symptoms are directed to phone Westmead Hospital (as our nearest major hospital) for advice on how to attend to be seen. For any further information we are available via phone to answer the questions we can. Thank you for your understanding during this time of constant change and uncertainty. For the most up to date information, please continue to refer to the NSW health website. Practice Management
