22.01.2022 Church is still on tomorrow! You may have seen that the Qld Govt has introduced new restrictions for gatherings in the Brisbane area, and even some for those outside of the south-east. 22.01.2022 I was reading the other day the very first verse of the Bible: "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." (Genesis 1:1) It might sound obvious, but whats being said here is that God created everything. Just think about that for a moment. Think about how difficult it is just to make from its chemical components, one living cell, something human beings havent yet managed to do. And then think about an intelligence and power that could create everything that is. Thats amazing! 17.01.2022 Sprouts starts back this Sunday for the Prep - Year 6 children. This term we are looking at the Fruit of the Spirit.

16.01.2022 Unfortunately Playtime wont be on tomorrow. The Playtime group will be meeting at the North Shore display play area and cafe next Wednesday the 22nd July at 9.30am. If you have little ones we welcome you to come along.

16.01.2022 Wet Weather: If there has been heavy rain overnight, or it is raining in the morning, the Playtime park play (North Shore display village pillow) will be cancelled. There wont be an announcement, the weather will be our indicator. We will see what tomorrow brings

12.01.2022 I have just heard from the Presbyterian Church of Queensland that all Presbyterian churches in our state have been instructed to cease congregational gatherings as of this Sunday i.e. church on Sunday is not on until further notice. However, just because we cant gather at church on Sunday doesnt mean we stop following Jesus! And so in the coming days Ill be posting some info on how we plan to continue seeking to follow Jesus in this challenging time. Praying that our God would give us wisdom, compassion, courage, & faith for these times.

12.01.2022 North Shore Playtime starts again this week the 7th October. 9am Wednesdays, 5 Okino Place, Burdell. Please note a COVID change: BYO individual morning tea and blanket. We are looking forward to another great term together!

11.01.2022 This Wednesday the 26th August at 9am, Playtime will be meeting back at the North Shore Presbyterian Church building. There will be some adjustments due to the COVID restrictions. Please BYO an individual morning tea (be allergy aware - no nuts please), blanket/towel (to sit on for morning tea), hats and water bottles. For the time being there will only be outside activities.... Playtime looks forward to catching up again.

07.01.2022 Its been a big couple of weeks for our church - regular activities ramping up, a working bee to weed our gardens (thats the photo), and sadly, the passing away of a dearly loved church member. In all of those things its been great to see people supporting one another, sacrificing for one another, and generally showing forth what the body of Christ (i.e. the church) is all about. In some ways it looks very ordinary but really its extraordinary, and wonderful to see how God works in the midst of life in all its demanding glory, challenge, and mess.
