21.01.2022 Congratulations to Kevin for being a great supporter of Masters Swimming and our Club. He received the Club Person of the Year award at our Christmas get-together on Sunday. Kevin has only got back into swimming in the last two years and in that time he has lived the motto of Fun, Fitness and Friendship of Masters Swimming. Under the guidance of Fina Ambassador and World Champion Tony Goodwin, he has improved his performance in his favourite events. Kevin has also attended many swim meets, been the first to lend a hand with timekeeping, and assisted the State Office to promote our sport at Expos as well as at the Invictus Games. He has also been a regular attendee at our monthly Club swims. Thanks Kevin for a great year and for your contribution to our Club.

18.01.2022 A short video featuring the boys getting ready for the Freestyle Relay. A good performance to come in second behind Warringah. The antics of Stuart Meares just shows he wants to be a part of our club #puttingthefuninswimming.
16.01.2022 Thats it for Nationals 2019 in Adelaide... our small committed team of 4 kept the North Shore Masters name well and truly alive over 4 days of competition last week... Even the color of the official merchandise T-shirt of the event was in purple... what an honor!! But purple was not the only color in abundance - gold was as well.. each winning either individually or contributing to a gold winning relay... our tally also included PBs, State records and National records.. So ...onwards to Sydney 2020 at SOPAC in a Short Course format.. To coin a phrase from one team member - that makes next years Nationals - 12 months to Bingo!!...where again we will wear the purple with pride.. Of course North Shore Master would always welcome new and past members to join us - this will be a great event and something to train and aim for... bring it on!
16.01.2022 Swam with this local Coffs legend and 200m fly Gold Medallist from Nationals in Adelaide, Paul Edwards. Go the Masters network!
16.01.2022 Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all our North Shore Masters friends (and followers). We hope you have a safe and healthy festive season and we look forward to sharing some of our activities with you in 2019. Membership is open for 2019 so if you are interested in Adult Swimming, either just to get fit, test yourself, or relive those childhood swimming carnivals among like minded people, why not make contact with us. It is all about the fun, fitness and friendship.
15.01.2022 A great morning for a club swim at Hornsby this morning at 7.00 (although this shot was taken back in Dec 2018 at 5:30 AM). A challenging 3.6 k set with some dive starts and swim with effort. Even "The Storm" found the last 100 a challenge. Nice breaky afterwards whilst maintaining some social distancing. Hopefully a dip in Chlorine every few days will keep us healthy. Anyone up for a swim at 5:30 AM on Monday, Wednesday and Friday? Come and join Scotty, Harley and Stuart for a session.
14.01.2022 NSM Christmas Party. For a great time RSVP by this Friday. Dont miss out!
14.01.2022 Stuart Ellicott and Craig Magnusson on the blocks at the start of the 200 breaststroke. Gold to both of them Congratulations

13.01.2022 Morning Nth Sh Masters and welcome to 2019. Another big year ahead of laps, lactic acid, spitting in your goggles and forever smelling like chlorine. There are 3 events prior to Nationals; Campbelltown, Myall and Cessnock, all carnivals can be seen on the Masters swimming website. Who is interested in going to Adelaide in March, 19-23? We need to start thinking about accomodation and flights.... Please let me know. See more

10.01.2022 Welcome to Egbert Stolk - our newest member. His swims at the Ettalong Meet on Saturday were very impressive. He will only get faster as he gets back into regular racing. He toyed with our good friend Jon Hawton in the 200 Backstroke, taking control of the race at the 100 mark to end in a time of 2:19.04. Congratulations to Jon Hawton who was only a few seconds behind, setting new National Records on the day, in the 50 & 200 Backstroke, taking 4.9 secs off the old 200 time of our other good friend Mark Smedley.
