25.01.2022 We love receiving photos from families who take a DIY tub from us and pack them at home with the kids. This was a lovely local family from our local school who took a tub of our Cancer Care packs and put them together yesterday afternoon. Thanks guys so much! We really appreciate the extra pairs of hands ... This week our Cancer Care packs will be delivered to Macquarie Uni Hospital - Oncology Ward and the SAN Hospital - Day Infusion Ward.

23.01.2022 We received an email this week from Wise Specialist Emergency Clinic - Macquarie Park requiring more craft packs for the kids who come into the Respiratory Clinic needing a COVID test. So we have started putting together colouring in sheets designed by Hive Creations by Kids for us with a pack of pencils in a snap lock bag. Simple, effective and an incentive for when testing the kids

21.01.2022 You would have seen our recent posts about sending lots of colouring in kits out to the Hospitals we support. This has significantly depleted our supplies of colouring pencils & crayons . If youre wanting to give a donation to #Smiles2U, we would really appreciate mini packs of colouring pencils or crayons please.

21.01.2022 Love what we do Yesterday my son had a severe Asthma attack and we ended up in emergency. I didnt have anything to keep him occupied while we waited for his oxygen levels to rise and I was feeling terrible for not taking him anything during my panic to get him to the hospital. I just want to say a massive THANK YOU for what you guys do! A lovely nurse gave us one of your bags and my son was so happy! ... Once he perked up we still had hours of monitoring and your bag kept him still and occupied! Absolute saints xx

19.01.2022 Someone was pretty chuffed with his Cuddles Bag after being in hospital this week. He is certainly looking a lot happier after a few days of rest and is now very happy with his goodies. We love what we do and these smiles are worth the hard work we put in each day to making a hospital experience a positive one for little people.

14.01.2022 A few weeks ago we were contacted by a Mum whose Daughter attends one of the local schools in the area. Her class was given a task to support a community group during the term, this lovely young girl wanted to support Smiles2U and do a collection of items for our Smiles Bags. Well today, all of this was delivered to us, so many beautiful gifts, toys, books, colouring in pencils, activity books, notebooks, gel pens and soft toys. ... We love having the young children in our community get involved and even more so when it’s a whole class from a local school. Thank you to this local school for giving your students the opportunity to give back to the community.

13.01.2022 Today Sarah and I met at our storage unit - Kennards Storage in Pymble to put together 9 very special pamper packs. We were asked by Bear Cottage if we could put something together for the Mums who come along to their Mums Camp next weekend. ... All Mums are incredible but these Mums are very special and need to be recognised. They sit by their childs bed nursing, caring, nurturing their child who is in palliative care. Its an incredibly emotional time and we wanted to put something special together for them. So with YOUR kindness, support and generosity we have put together 9 beautiful pamper boxes filled with lots of special goodies to make these Mums feel loved and recognised by Smiles2U. We know we cant go wrong with having a magazine in our bags, a mix of craft activities and magazines is perfect for a child in hospital. The best news is we have saved all this from landfill! 13.01.2022 Today we were blown away by kindness and generosity We were contacted by a local Mum from the North Shore Mums Facebook group who saw what we do and wanted to get her local school involved in our Christmas Wishing Tree drive. Well... the Sydney Japanese International School - have certainly outdone themselves!... Look at all of this! A school of 215 students and everyone has got involved with bringing joy to the many sick children who will be in hospital this Christmas Pictured below are the School Captains. (Japanese Division, International Division and High School) Thank you SO much from the Smiles2U team for your incredible donation. We’re truly so grateful. Edit: A total of 116 gift were collected.

09.01.2022 **HOT OFF THE PRESS** In what has been a big week for Smiles2U we’re celebrating two big wins for us! Today after making a delivery to the SAN Hospital Emergency Department and RNSH Child / Adolescent Dept and Emergency Dept we reached the number of 6000 Smiles Bags!... In 5 years we have brought smiles, joy, happiness and excitement to 6000 children! The joy it brings us knowing we have achieved this number is huge and we say THANK YOU for your ongoing support.
