11.01.2022 Every year, more than 14,000 women will receive a breast cancer diagnoses. One of these women was Australian rock legend, Chrissy Amphlett. Nearly one year ago, Chrissy passed away at the age of 53. Chrissy was passionate around spreading awareness around the importance of early detection of breast cancer. As a tribute to Chrissy, her family & friends, Cancer Council NSW and JWT Sydney have launched the #itouchmyselfproject, encouraging women to ‘touch themselves’ to get to know the look and feel of their breasts, and speak to their doctor if they notice a change.
