14.01.2022 Hes back!!! After a bit of an unplanned break, Mik is now back and fully operational again!!! Northside carbs comes from humble beginnings when in 1999 a young enthusiastic mechanic who was managing another carburettor shop decided to step out and go it alone. ... With a young family and nothing more than some tools and a wealth of knowledge, and a signed lease on a great industrial shed in Geebung. The businesses main focus was rebuilding carburettors for trade customers and performance tuning for the public too. Things went well and after 5 years the business grew and we had some quality mechanics join our team. In 2008 we expanded our services and purchased a dyno dynamics 2wd chassis dyno and started getting more serious about tuning, playing with Group N and performance cars! 2011 unfortunately saw Mik in a fight for life and having to take an unplanned and extended period of time away. But we are super excited to say he is BACK and he brought reinforcements in the shape of our son Jake and some great mates!!! In an even better shed, focused on the ever growing need to find a dyno shop that can tune old school cars while still offering all the same services and quality as before.
