11.01.2022 AT HOME WITH ESTHER Whats encouraging me at this moment is how God shows us His love in so many ways. My neighbour who is also a single mum reached out to me in the last week offering her company if Im ever feeling lonely. Connecting with others again now that restrictions are easing has been amazing, God never designed for us to be alone or isolated. Experiencing Gods presence by getting out in nature and going for beautiful walks. These small things all felt like hugs from God and Him reminding me that He is always with me, He loves me and He is incredibly generous to me. I work with people with addictions and during COVID a lot of them have gotten much worse. I am challenged to try help them more and pay forward some of the incredible love and grace God has shown me.

09.01.2022 AT HOME WITH BRIAN AND LORETTA I think Sam and the team are doing a great job for our church under extreme difficulties where governments have no real idea where the world is going. It must be hard for the team, with changes daily in what is or is not permissible, and wonderful experts dreaming up new orders to change yesterdays.... In a nut shell, whilst I am fearful for the future, I give thanks to the Lord for the team we have doing their darndest for our folk. It sure encourages me.

05.01.2022 AT HOME WITH GRAHAME Hi, Im Grahame. My family is always the best encouragement to me. Weve tried to run with the abnormal theme in society at the moment and make it abnormal in a good way. My 13-year-old daughter Sammy has educated me about K-Pop music (Korean), and Ive just finished helping my 11-year-old son Ben paint the feature wall in his bedroom bright yellow (hes done a great job). Our first big family activity after lockdown was to celebrate my wife Amandas mothers 80th birthday. And our two cats (Squid and Trixie) take us for walks up the street to keep us fit (yes, they yell at us until we walk with themand pat them on demand). Nothings normal here. Fortunately.

04.01.2022 AT HOME WITH MADDY During the Covid-19 hit, it felt like my life was crumbling around me. Suddenly there was no work, I didnt have accommodation in Sydney and I became unwell so I needed to move back to Perth to be with family. I remember looking up at the sky and thinking God I really wasnt expecting this! Why is this happening?. Sometimes when we feel like we cant see God at all is when he is working the most in our lives. ... As I look back I can see over the last few months, I realise how much he has been working in my life and the beautiful things he has put in my path to keep me going. I have had sun-filled days with my family and my dogs and Ive been able to pick up hobbies that I havent done in a while, like my art and yoga!. My relationship with God has strengthened as I have more uninterrupted time for prayer and worship and Im leaning to exercise gratitude and mindfulness always. I am so excited to get back to Northside and worship our good God with my church fam again!
