22.01.2022 Hi Everyone! It has been great to still see many of you from a big social distance! I’m very lucky to still be considered an ‘essential service’ in this time and everyone has been really great with tying their horses up ready for me, or being around whilst I grab them from the paddock to trim by myself (carrot bribes!). I just wanted to put a reminder message out there for everyone to remain diligent with keeping hooves clean to prevent thrush as the ground is very wet. Pleas...e pick your horses feet out and apply topical treatments to keep the bugs away. Long term wet ground will in turn make your horses hooves soft, so picking them out, drying them off with a towel, soaking them with an epsom salt soak to wash the baddies away, applying anti-thrush treatments, feeding hoof supplements (you know I love hoof gold; my horses thrive off this gold!), applying hoof armour, avoiding sugar and grain and sticking to an anti-inflammatory diet, and providing spots with sand for a break from the mud, and clean poo & wee free ground will all assist those horses who are affected by this long term moist environment. 08.01.2022 Hi Lovelies! One of my clients is selling one of her children’s horses. Mellow would make a great trail riding horse or pony clubbed for a teenager or smaller adult. She is by no means needing an advanced rider, there is no nastiness and she has been around young kids this whole time. However, she is not suitable to be your first horse as she likes to be busy and needs some direction. I can vouch that she has been very well looked after since I’ve known her (for a few years now, her owners spare no expense!) and is completely sound so will make a great horse for someone with some experience and confidence.

01.01.2022 Hi to Everyone I hope you are all well. My apologies if I have not gotten back to you with an appointment time or had to postpone... I have pneumonia at the moment and am probably about half way through. Just at home in bed with the doona over my head trying to wrestle it away.
