25.01.2022 Well Done Everyone!! Thanks to everyons donations PER08 has now been funded from June 30th 2019 Until June 30th 2020 and has been on air for the entire CB Community to use. 24.01.2022 MTB07 is on air, not sure if it will stay on though as the new solar regulator we bought down was having issues. ALB03 is Back on air with a new power supply. Unfortunately MTB04 is still off air, when we arrived on site we discovered niether the transmit or receive antenna where connected.... Will have to make another trip down with a folded dipole array and some coax and have someone climb up and attach it. What a day it's been! What an adventure. Up at 5:30am in Collie packed the 4wd and off to first stop Cranbrook. Finally arrived around 9am got lost on the farm got found and taken to the site only to find no antennas were connected :( Off to Mt Barker around 12, some very treacherous 4WD and thought I was going to die, finally got into the site and setup all the new equipment, only to find the NEW solar regulator is playing games, fingers crossed MTB07 stays afloat. 4pm arrived in Albany proper a new power supply for ALB03 and another repeater is back on air. 5:30pm having a bite to eat and then back on the road to Collie, thanks Albany it's been real. 23.01.2022 PER04 is now OFFLINE until our lease agreement is approved in order to move on to the new tower that has been erected at the same site. We appreciate your patience and will hopefully be back on air on the NEW tower in the not to distant future. Any questions or queries please let me know.

23.01.2022 Missed out on the WIA & NewsWest Amateur Radio News this morning? Good news you can catch it again at 7pm on UHF CB Radio Repeater 1 in Wanneroo. PER01 The news is now broadcast every Sunday at 9am and 7pm over the Wanneroo Repeater.... Soon to be rolled out to other NRA repeaters state wide! A big thankyou to Rob VK6LD for his assistance bringing the News Broadcast to PER01.

21.01.2022 Well we are almost there for 2018/2019 $2320 Raised So Far! A Phenomenal Effort, thanks to everyone who has contributed so far! BUT the rental for 2018/2019 has just arrived so it is time to ramp things up again and get this campaign over the line! ... $750+GST is now urgently required! 19.01.2022 PER04 NEWS A power cut on 07th May 2018 for approximately 1.5 hours will occur at the Millendon Repeater Site. The Repeater should run off battery backup until power is restored. Hopefully all goes well.... More PER04 News to follow stay Tuned.

15.01.2022 A very very sad day today, during this afternoons storms in Wanneroo, the tower where PER01 has resided since 1984 & later in 2004 VK6RNA called home, finally met a horrible demise... Shed a tear tonight, and had a beer, so many memories. (36 Years for PER01) This isn't the end though, just the start of a new chapter.... Like the Phoenix - PER01 & VK6RNA shall rise from the ashes. @ Wanneroo

02.01.2022 . PER04 ONAIR! So after 6 long months today it finally happened. The lease agreement settled, and Metrowest mounted our folded dipole array on the new tower. I then installed the repeater equipment & PER04 is Back!... Shout out to The City of Swan for their help with the lease agreement, Metrowest for mounting the Antenna and running the 550 coax, and of course a big thanks to Dave and the Crew at Direct Communications for helping out with the tuning of the new full wave diplexers and checking the TB7100 over for me.
