21.01.2022 Northside wines has always focused on alternative grape varieties coming from small Aussie producers. It's something we are passionate about, not only because of the delicious and interesting wines these unusual grapes can produce, but also because these grapes are climatically appropriate and sustainable for the Aussie landscape meaning less irregation and work on the land required. Over lockdown we discovered @aavws and began contacting these boutique producers who have tak...en risks for the sake of the environment. Many don't have distribution and we literally receive our deliveries via auspost but all of them make amazing wine which we are lucky enough to stock in our bottle shop or pour by the glass @lillypillywines @artwineestate @symphony_hill_wines @toppersmtnwines @carillionwines

Lockdown Extension Since the devestating news a few days ago, there has been a growing wave of disgrunteled hospitality owners petitioning for our industry to re-open sooner. They have recieved heavy media coverage. ... We want to be clear. Northside Wines, backs the science. Open our industry only when it is safe to do so. Safe for our staff, safe for our customers, safe for our community. Yes its sucks, yes it hurt and yes it costs us money. But there is no other option. The science is clear. For this reason we are not supporting calls, from some heavyweights in our industry trying to bully the government into re-opening. We cannot wait to host you again in our venue.
