19.01.2022 Could all senior teams please note: 1. Umpires 15 years and under are not allowed to umpire any senior games. The only exception is if a junior umpire holds a National C badge. This rule comes from the NSNA By Laws and not me! 2. It is strongly recommended that mixed teams are umpired by those with a National C badge or higher. These umpires should be 16 years or over, or have permission from me.... Please abide by these rules. I am there on Monday evenings if you want to talk about umpires or would like me to assist with finding one. Eileen Umpire Convenor

08.01.2022 Umpiring events soon at NSNA: 1. Rules session with Sharon Kelly - this is to primarily address the adjustments/clarifications to the rules of netball in 2020. Please register via the umpiring tab on the NSNA website. 2. Red Robin sessions: Saturday 21st March 9.00 am to Midday - session for NSG umpires and coaches. Saturday and Sunday 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm - sessions for new umpires. Please register via the umpiring tab on the NSNA website.

06.01.2022 Dear Umpires, a message from our Umpires Committee: We are still looking for a Senior Umpires Coordinator. If you would like to join us in this position or as part of the Committee - or even perhaps as Senior Umpires Coordinator (we will help you) please let us know. In the meantime, we are calling on badged umpires to assist us in mentoring, levelling and badging. We now have specific criteria for each level and badge (it really will be a case of ticking the box for yes or ...no) and, if you have never mentored, we will work with you on this. If you think you could assist on Friday nights or Saturdays please email us on [email protected] We will be very grateful for your experience and knowledge. Finally - if any of you are available to assist with the Red Robin courses on the afternoon of Saturday 17th March or Sunday 18th March, could you let us know asap please.
