22.01.2022 This week sees our FQPL2 teams travel not too far to play in a local derby vs Virginia United Football Club. Let's get down to Albert Bishop Park to cheer on our teams to their next 3 points! Go STARS!!!



21.01.2022 Our U12 Development team (playing in Div 3), after close matches thus far this season, played against Pine Hills on Saturday. 20.01.2022 Player of the month voting for out FQPL under 23's for May. Fixtures included a tough 6-5 loss to Magic, loss to Samford and wins over Grange and Magic. Voting closes Midnight Friday. Ben Ormasher ... Owain Myers Brayden Cook Lawson Caiterns Kaleb Powyer Ben - Played an instrumental part in settling the midfield, cementing himself as one of the 1st names on the teamsheet and made two 1st team appearances. Owain - Played in the backline and next to Ben in midfield, helping get the team on the front foot and slow down the goals against. Made the bench for the 1st team last time out. Brayden - Dropping down to get back to full fitness, has scored 4 goals in 3 games, despite being substituted early to back up afterwards for the 1st team. Lawson - Ever dependable at Left back and popping up with a goal as well as putting in a lot of great crosses. Kaleb - Played all across the back 4 with a variety of partners and always dependable. Also came off the bench for 1st team against Coomera.

06.01.2022 Player of the month for May for our FQPL 1st team. Games included a loss to Grange and wins over Coomera, Samford and Magic. Voting closes midnight Friday. Rhys West ... Tyler Brayley-Combe Kevin Chan Jack Gibson Rhys - Rhys played every minute as captain as we went 3/4 in the month. Some vital challenges and excellent work on the ball helped set the tempo for us getting back to winning ways. Leader on and off the pitch. Tyler - 4 goals (Magic x1 and Coomera x3) as well as 4 assists (x2 Coomera, x1 Samford and Magic). All round attacking play, being directly involved with 8 of our 10 goals. Kevin - Mr consistency, always looking for the ball and helping his team out defensively. Scored against Samford and Coomera, unlucky not to have a couple more over the month. Jack Gibson - Motm against Samford and tireless defensive effort have seen his status grow from 1st team squad member to a vital part of the 11 on match day.
