17.01.2022 The 2019 Junior State Championships Under 18 Girls team played in the semi-finals, finishing 4th in the competition.

17.01.2022 Today we look back at the 2019 Under 13 Boys JSC team who finished 4th in the competition.

08.01.2022 A big shout out to all junior girls and boys aged 16 and under as at 1st January 2020. Hockey Victoria has accepted North West Lightning’s nomination to enter a girls only Under 16 team in its inaugural Shield season alongside an Under 16 boys only team. If you have ever thought about taking your hockey to the next level and playing against some of the very best junior girls or boys in the state now is you chance.... With home games being played in Bendigo and matches also in Melbourne this opportunity brings high level hockey to our doorstep. This Tuesday sees the final trials for the Under 16 girls and also the Under 16 boys. So if you want to challenge yourself either attend the final trial Tuesday 10 March at 6:00 at the Ashley Street Hockey Complex or contact Dale Boyd (girls coach) on 0419382053, Ross Evans (boys coach) 0408535772 or Angela Poxon 0428314219 for further information.

05.01.2022 Yesterday was the proposed start for the Junior State Championships. Over the week we will look back at our 2019 teams starting with the Under 13 Girls. We look forward to hosting JSC next year in Bendigo and Shepparton.

02.01.2022 Junior State Championships As you are all aware many things have been put on hold as a result of COVID-19. For some Season 2020 has a proposed starting date of the 1st May, while for others it will be June before starting. Things are quite fluid and we will keep you informed of any changes. The Junior Country Championships and Senior Country Championships have been cancelled. ... Subsequent to that, the 2020 Junior State Championships have been postponed and Hockey Victoria will look for alternate dates to run it later in 2020. Information will be forwarded once it comes to hand. In the meantime, keep up your fitness, find some innovative ways to improve your hockey skills and stay safe.
