Without a valid licence you can’t enter race meetings or attend Social Karting Events held at any club. To renew your membership you have two options. 1. Renew via the CMS system, just simply click on your my details button, scroll down to membership renewal and follow the process.... 2. You can direct deposit your club membership into the clubs bank account, email the club secretary of payment made and we can do it manually

21.01.2022 What has been known as Tongs corner over the past 16 years has had an update. It is now the B&J Joiners Corner. Over the years it’s had many names, Tongs Corner, Burnie Mitsubishi Corner and prior to that it was known as Steering Brake and Clutch Corner. Does anyone know of any other names this corner has gone by over the years? The NWKC would like to thank Rohan Tongs and Tongs Sheetmetal for their support of the NWKC over many years.

Entries close on the 10th of December at midnight. The Burnie Thousands medium class is only 5 entries away from having there prize pool double from $500 to $1,000. Both the light and heavy classes have a ways to go. Don’t forget all thousands class entries go into a random draw for a free set of DFM slicks, donated by Fulton Enterprises and all support class entries go into a random draw to have your entry fee refunded if you enter before midnight Monday the 7th of December

Positions that need filling are, Grid Marshall, Scales Marshall, Flag Marshall and a new COVID 19 Club officer. It’s about the friendships and how the karting community comes together and supports each other in our own small moments of triumph and heart ache that makes karting great. This is just one of the many beautiful stories that’s happening all around our state at the moment. The hard work and dedication that all four clubs and it’s many members are putting in to our sport to foster and grow the next generation of karters has been wonderful to see over this past year. There was some awesome racing in all the classes across the day. 08.01.2022 NWKC members Chad Edwards and Cruz Kelly have bounced back from a rough day yesterday to finish 4th and 7th respectively in the Cadet 9 Class at the Junior Top Guns meeting held at the Oakleigh Go Kart Club in Victoria. What a fantastic effort from these two young men!! Congratulations

07.01.2022 Important Update!! Due to numbers and trying to keep the fields as even as possible weve made a slight change to the practice and racing groups. Also due to the number of groups weve had to reduce the two practice rounds from 8mins to 6mins each.

Junior Member - $85 Practice Only - $50 Social - $30 You can either renew your memberships via the Karting Australia Website or by Contacting Guy Murphy via email at [email protected] Just a reminder that current access to the track is restricted due to current COVID-19 regulations. Any practice must be approved by the club executive and must abide by the COVIDsafe regs. Remember, KA licences are only valid in conjunction with a current club membership, and no racing or practice can be undertaken without either of these. 05.01.2022 The NWKC have two of our youngest members racing today and tomorrow at one of the biggest junior and cadet race meetings in Australia, the Junior Top Guns held at the Oakleigh Go Kart Club held in Victoria. We wish both Chad Edwards current Black plate State Champion and Cruz Kelly the best of luck, both Chad and Cruz have been at the front end of the field in Cadet 9 at home in Tasmania and will be looking forward to racing some of the country’s best with a great field of 20 karts. Chad is aiming for a top 10 position and I’d imagine Cruz will be as well. Go get em!!

All entries in the Burnie Thousands Classes will go into a random draw for a set of DFM Slicks donated by Fulton Enterprises at the close of entries on the 10th of December. Prize money for each of the Burnie Thousands Classes is up for grabs!! From 6-14 entries per class $500 total prize pool $300 for the winner and classes with 15 entries + total prize pool jumps to $1000 with $600 to the... winner! If we have enough entries to run the B Final the winner of the B Final will win $100. All support class entries that enter before the 7th of December will go into a random draw to win your entry fee back. Vintage is also being offered.

Olivia Munday winning Cadet Driver of the weekend Chad Edwards with Second Place in Cadet 9, Cruz Kelly with 3rd place in Cadet 9. Cooper Super Synfield pole position in KA4 Junior light and Junior driver of the weekend and overall driver of the weekend. Ethan Wyllie Pole position and 3rd place in KA3 Senior Light. Shane Stonehouse 2nd place Tag R Medium.... Allan Sheahen Pole position and 2nd place in Tag R Heavy. All of our members did themselves amd our club proud.
