25.01.2022 Just a few of the jobs that have been completed in the last two months. Variety of work certainly comes standard at North West Sheet Metal with jobs ranging from aluminium and stainless fabrication to repairs and modifications to agricultural implements and machinery. The recent addition of our new apprentice boilermaker Ben Allen is rapidly proving to be a great asset and is adding to his skill set daily. ... We have been very fortunate to be busy in the current conditions and are hoping for a turn in this drought for all farmers, contractors and local businesses that are all feeling the effects of this current climate.

25.01.2022 This BT50 has just been fitted with our latest steel tray. LED work lights and tail lights, aluminium checker plate lids and side gate caps. All powder coated in gloss black wrinkle for a durable and good looking finish. Powder coating was completed in house right here in Gunnedah.... #keepitlocal

22.01.2022 Our latest tray design with plenty of under body storage with two semi tapered rear boxes, 1500 trundle draw and 50L of water stored under the headboard. Work lights, removable rear rack and stainless rope rail, mudguards and toolbox doors. All fabricated locally to individual requirements.

18.01.2022 The opportunity to design and build a practical and stylish solution for work and play doesn't come up every day so we were excited when we were approached for this job. Some of the options included in this build: - Sealed all aluminium trundle draw weighing in at 45 kg - Modular water tank bolted into headboard... - Flared one piece guards - Front underbody boxes and tapered rear boxes with concealed fuel filler - Removable rear rack - Flush tie down rings - Maxilamp tail lights All coated in satin black powdercoat to compliment the sandy taupe paint work.

09.01.2022 Custom built 3.6 X 2.2 table top trailer 3500kg ATM. Built with Simplicity Suspension for true load sharing at all degrees of suspension travel. Long service life for all pivot bushings of at least 5 years off-road usage means the only maintainance required regularly is tyre pressures and repacking wheel bearings. 3.0m aluminum loading ramps stored neatly and readily accessible under the floor.... Perfectly balanced unladen with 160kg on the ball for a excellent towing trailer empty or loaded. Tie down points fully welded into the floor for restraint loads lower than the side gates. Fully removable centre post and side gates for use as a flat top trailer. All finished in high quality Watyl 2pac silver metallic paint.

08.01.2022 Definitely something different to the usual Friday profile cutting jobs today. Designed, cut and folded to required dimensions this custom privacy screen. Corten steel panels also available in 1200x2400 and 1200x3000 for exterior panels.

08.01.2022 A big thanks to Clair and Kenny Berryman for the opportunity to build this implement trailer and for keeping their business local. 8 X 2.8m deck with a low loading height of 450mm and fully raised offering 500mm ground clearance. Articulation is provided via an 80mm ball hitch from Bredal Australia for a rattle free and greasable coupling to the fabricated quick hitch drawbar. Offering a payload of 10,000kg this is an extremely universal design capable of moving wide implements in an end tow configuration without the need for a loading ramp for linkage based implements.

Fast turn around on all profile cutting whether drawings are supplied or drafting is required, with competitive pricing on steel, aluminium and stainless supplied and cut here in Gunnedah. Powered by a Hypertherm Hydefinition plasma source for high quality cutting of all metals, processes include O2/Air for mild steel and wear plate, N2/N2 for economical cutting of stainless and aluminium without contamination of the cut edge, Hydrogen/N2 for high speed cutting of 3mm and thicker aluminum and stainless.
