19.01.2022 North Whyalla FC, our players & supporters would like to thank Matt Quist & Jason Speck for their services as senior coaches of our club in their respective tenures. Matt began his League coaching career in season 2019, our centenary year. In his 2 seasons as League coach, he has continued to take us to consecutive finals campaigns. With the experienced, depth of talent in 2019 & a young-blooded developing team in 2020. Matt engrained into our playing group the attitude & di...scipline in which our club prides ourselves on. He has put in an incredible amount of hours & effort into building a foundation which leaves our senior squad in good steed, with a clear direction on the future moving forward. Jason returned to the Reserves coaching role in 2019 after a year absent. He has continued to pursue success in his side through our experienced list, whilst also blooding senior games into our colts. Jason has worked tirelessly in making sure NWFC remain a force across both senior grades. He reached premiership success in both 2014 (undefeated) & 2015, with the latest Grand Final appearance in 2019. We thank both of these men for their contribution to our club through these coaching tenures, and wish both them, our senior squad & future coaches the absolute best.

14.01.2022 Thankyou to all who have supported our Friday night meals throughout the year. A great turn out to finish the meals off! However, this hasn’t always been the case and we have struggled with crowd numbers throughout the year for this particular night. As a committee, we have been discussing ideas on how we can move forward with this and the idea of a relocation to Thursday Night Meals has been touted as a proposition. Thursday night meals bring some positives such as alignin...g with both NWFC & KIWI training nights, allowing players to come back for meals, and team selections to be announced infront of a larger audience. Friday nights is also a very popular night for dining & drinking out, by a relocation to Thursday night this takes away a lot of competition in the market for dining-in options. Please provide us with your honest feedback on this topic as this is something we would like to reinvigorate & it will be a topic of discussion at our AGM on 10th December.
