During this appointment your dentist will be able to give you advice on brushing, teething, diet and habits such as thumb-sucking and grinding. If your child is between the ages of 2 and 17 years they may be eligible for coverage through the Child Dental Benefit Scheme run by Medicare, which provides $1000 over a two year period for general dental.
