23.01.2022 Moose Marine in conjunction with the Norwood Angling Club are hosting our 2nd VHF license course on Saturday the 29th of June at the the Norwood Sporting club, Mullum Mullum reserve, Ringwood North starting at 1pm for only $199 Come a long and learn in a friendly and fun environment the correct way to operate your radio, and leave with your very own VHF license same day. By law you need a VHF license to operate a VHF radio in Australia, Having a license also makes you eligib...le for a MMSI number opening up the ability to use DSC and AIS functions. 12.01.2022 NAC Upcoming events. Wednesday 10th of July - Members night at Norwood Sporting Club. 7pm. See flyer below for further details and membership costs. Sunday July... 14th - Cape Woolamai. High Tide 9.30am. Surf Fishing. Furthers details to follow at members night. Wednesday 31st July - Sinker making night (Wonga Park) All materials provided including lead & moulds. BBQ meal provided. Please bring sinker moulds if you have any. Please express your interest and RSVP if your interested in attending. 11.01.2022 NAC Will be holding a members night on Tuesday Feb 5th. Starting 7.00pm at Norwood Sporting Club. In the lead up to the upcoming Whiting comp on Feb 10th at So...rrento, we encourage member and all interested to attend and join in the discussion. BYO refreshments Venue Greg Sherars 181-183 Jumping Creek Road Wonga Park Please let us know if you plan to attend via facebook or 0418342967 Perfect opportunity for all members of the Norwood Sporting Club community and friends, to get together, talk fishing make sinkers and just have a great social night. The club will have the sinker moulds required for fishing the both bays and will also provide all materials to make the sinkers. If you have sinker moulds please bring them along. The final product is to be distributed amongst all members. FREE to current financial members Membership can be paid on the night thus making you eligible for your share of the sinkersl Membership this year has been reduced to $25.00 for single adult membership

05.01.2022 Good trip to Eildon last weekend. Only one fish caught but the three people that attended had a great time. Hopefully we will arrange another trip next month and camp on the lake. Details will follow shortly. Cheers.

For anyone interested please contact Ian Walton (Bugsy).... Some accommodation has been booked at Long Jetty Caravan Park but if you are planning on going and staying elsewhere please let Bugsy know. Rob Harrison, the whiting whisperer, is running whiting charters which are open to NAC on the days of 26th to 31st of March. We are looking for expressions of interest with your name and preferred date. Please contact Bugsy if you are interested.
