24.01.2022 Entries are open for tomorrow's NCC Tuesday Criteriums, and Thursday's NCCxCSA Women's and Junior Criteriums. On AusCycling - South Australia current advice, we are going to open entries in anticipation of running these events. If the emergency declarations are not relaxed to the point where we are able to race, we will cancel the event and issue refunds. 23.01.2022 After today’s update from SA Health it should be no surprise to any of our members or any part of the cycling community that a direction not to leave your house... for exercise absolutely includes solo outdoor riding for recreation or training. We ask that all members respect these directions and ride only on the trainer (or in your own backyard) for the time being from midnight tonight. Again, a reminder that this hard 6-day lockdown could save us not only weeks or months of a Victoria-style lockdown, but also hundreds of lives if we can prevent the widespread case numbers that we’ve seen interstate and overseas. 21.01.2022 Tip in Tuesday is planning to go ahead with an eye on the sky. Potential Thunder storm forecast. We will follow @auscyclingsa lightning protocols and cancel racing if the storm comes. 21.01.2022 EDIT AND IMPORTANT UPDATE: Exercise is allowed on Saturday up to 2hrs solo or with people who live in your home only. Update: bike riding is allowed! Effective ...immediately, we are allowed to get out and exercise. This should ONLY be done with those whom you live with. It should only be a maximum of 2 hours per day. The stay at home order is still in place until 11:59PM Saturday, so please start and finish your exercise at home.

18.01.2022 In partnership with Cycling South Australia, Norwood Cycling Club are delighted to announce Thursday Women's and Junior Criteriums! Entries are now open through Entryboss https://entryboss.cc/races/5536... Starting October 8th - As part of NCC and CSA's commitment to the development of women's cycling, these fortnightly events will provide an opportunity for women of all abilities to race and improve their skills in women's grades. Regular fortnightly Junior criteriums will also give new opportunity to junior riders to develop their race skills further. Volunteers are needed to run these events! NCC remind all members, participants and spectators attending NCC events of their obligations to the broader and racing community under the current COVID restrictions during this pandemic. Please act with regard and care for the health of the community and to ensure racing can continue. To this end, please download the COVID Safe app and read the CSA regulations regarding COVID. Stay home if you’re sick or unwell, isolate and seek ...testing. Please heed the advice and instruction of the COVID Marshals and race officials at events. Practice good hygiene and social distancing at events. Non-compliance could lead to the end of racing during restrictions and significant fines. Please help us all get through this together. 16.01.2022 Congratulations NCC criterium champions 2020-21: Junior boy - Will Holmes. Junior girl - Summer Nordmeyer. Elite Women - Chelsea Holmes. Elite Men- Daryl Margrate. As club criterium champions they will get free NCC crits for the coming season! We will follow up with championship medals for the winners. Thanks all for supporting our first race back on Sunday in testing conditions. Thanks for all being well behaved and making the race easy to run.

16.01.2022 Congratulations to the 2020 winners of the Port Noarlunga Classic, Chelsea Holmes and Cameron Scott! Raced in hot and windy windy conditions, interspersed with occasional heavy drops of rain from the looming grey clouds overhead - The Range was again a great course for another year of our most prestigious event. Thank you to all of the volunteers who made the event the success it was. Much thanks to Rapha Australia for coming on board to sponsor the event for another year. ... 15.01.2022 We are planning for racing to resume the week after next, Tuesday 1st and Thursday the 3rd of December. This assumes restrictions allow it and we have capacity within our volunteer base. But we want to give everyone clear information and something to aim for. We can’t wait to be back racing and enjoying life on the bicycle with you all soon. 03.01.2022 Individual entries close tomorrow for this Saturday’s crit race at Vic park. Individual Entries offered across all categories for Juniors, Womens and Men’s. CSA are particularly looking for more women to get involved in Cat 3 women’s racing. We’d love to see and support more women’s categories at the events.
