25.01.2022 Norwood Foodland would like to reassure our valued customers that their safety and the health and safety of the community is our highest priority. After being a...dvised on Sunday that a man who had tested positive for COVID-19 had visited Norwood Foodland on Sunday 22nd November 2020 between 1.20pm and 2.00pm, we immediately implemented additional measures, working closely with SA Health & SAPOL. The store has undergone a deep-clean and all employees working during that period were temporarily removed from rosters while they undertook COVID testing. Those staff were required to return a negative result prior to being able to re-attend the workplace to date all results have been negative. Norwood Foodland has also put in place a Voluntary COVID Safe Plan, consistent with SafeWork SA guidelines, enabling customers to check in using the QR code displayed at the entry point and at various spots around the store. Norwood Foodland has had additional cleaning in place throughout the entire Pandemic period and has followed all SA Health COVID-19 guidelines, including the provision of sanitising stations and one-way aisles, in order to maintain a healthy and safe workplace for all staff, shoppers and the community. We would like to commend our staff impacted by this event for their professionalism and once again reassure our customers their health and safety is our number one priority.
