22.01.2022 Our court upgrade project is underway, but fundraising is still needed to keep membership fees and court hire rates low and accessible to all. It is also a time of new normals with people’s circumstances changed by Covid and some traditional fundraising opportunities not available. However, the People’s Choice Community Lottery is still on! and we are hoping you can support our Club by buying a ticket or two and gently persuading your friends and families to do the sa...me. This Community Lottery has been operating for many years, but has a different format this year. Tickets can only be purchased online, which makes selling to people outside the immediate Club membership, that bit harder! But we reckon you are up for the challenge!! The good bits about this Community Lottery remain the same Tickets still cost just $2 each. There are 700,000 tickets and 70 prizes, so 1 in 10,000 chance of winning a prize! There are four really big prizes 3 x Toyota cars ($30-$40K) and a $19K home renovation package from Harvey Norman (think new kitchen!) Tickets have been on sale for about a month (yes, we have been slow off the mark!) All tickets are in play for the main draw, which is on 26 Feb 2021. And importantly the whole $2 ticket purchase price goes directly to the Norwood Tennis Club!! So how do I buy tickets?? Go to https://communitylottery.peopleschoice.com.au/ Select the Buy Tickets option, then click on the Search icon, type in Norwood Tennis Club and follow the prompts. Or select the Sporting Club group and look for us (we are on page 3!). Maybe buy some tickets in support of other community groups at the same time? And spread the word! remember every ticket sold = $2 for Norwood Tennis Club. And last of all, good luck! and thank you for supporting Norwood Tennis Club.

15.01.2022 Last Saturday the official handing over of the grant from the state government to the NPSP council occurred. The redevelopment of the courts will ensure that tennis will be played at the Buttery reserve for many more years.
