30.12.2021 Major work will begin next week on the intersection of the South Eastern Freeway, Cross Road, Portrush Road and Glen Osmond Road and all approaches. The work to... remove the existing pavement and replace it with new asphalt will ensure the long-term safety and integrity of the road surface for all users. To minimise disruption, work will be undertaken at night between 7pm and 6am, Sunday to Friday. Work is planned to commence from Tuesday, 16 November. The project is expected to be completed early in 2022, weather permitting. Traffic flow will be maintained in all directions throughout the work with speed restrictions in place and work will be restricted to one section of the junction at a time (see map below).
