20.01.2022 How can we 'animalise' our public places? Thinking back to one of my first dog park projects with Aspect Studios, and the importance of creating a sense of move...ment/circulation in parks to minimize conflict or what I call 'hot spots'. The video illustrates this sense of movement. One of the other important characteristics in dog park design is the creation of different spaces and experiences for the dogs in the space - by exploring the different senses. I try to introduce different textures (ground surfaces), movement (plants that have a sense of movement) and plants that are hardy for dogs to run through, sniff and explore.
