20.01.2022 Big Bear's had a very different week to his usual week in the shop. He spent some time by his pond & then checked out how his cuttings were going. He was quite pleased to see it had a new shoot on one. Then he went to see what the bees were up to & saw they were all busy but the best thing was he finally found out how they got inside to their hive. There's a couple of holes in the windows at the back where the bees come & go from. Big Bear made sure not to disturb them &... just watch from a safe distance. Big Bear thought he'd spend some time reading through the Not a Cafe Guest Book now that life wasn't so hectic. The book was filled with wonderful comments about the shop, Big Bear, all the amazing creations by our locals & Belinda. Big Bear read the book from cover to cover & was amazed how many had visited our shop from all around the world. Big Bear had a big sigh & wondered to himself what life will be like now. After Belinda annouced closing the shop, her Dad got a bit sick so she decided to help him out & became his full time carer & Big Bear's been helping her. Big Bear thought "It's a big job for Belinda & I know she'll need my help but will it be much fun?" Big Bear decided he needed some fun so went looking for something to do. He found an old trolley from the shop so he took it out on the driveway & sat on it. He tried to make it go with his foot but it wouldn't move. Feeling a bit sad, Big Bear sat brooding on the trolley when suddenly someone turned up to save the day. It was Allan! "Want a push Big Bear?" asked Allan. "Yeah sure... I like to go fast so make it a good push" said Big Bear. Allan gave Big Bear a big shove which brought a big smile to Big Bear's face as he rolled down the drive. Big Bear & Allan sat on the verandah chatting & playing games for the rest of the afternoon. Big Bear realised after a few hours passed that everything will be fine. Life is as fun as you make it & he's looking forward to having lots of fun with Allan. Big Bear hopes you all have an amazing weekend... make it a safe one everyone.

19.01.2022 Big Bear's been beary busy this week with lots of artisans coming into the shop to collect their creations. Big Bear's lounge got sold this week to help pay the rent so he was in need of a new one. Despite being beary busy, he made time & found the perfect lounge at home to call his own. It's covered in flowers... it's perfect! Big Bear will be letting you all know beary soon what he'll be helping me with.... Big Bear hopes you have an amazing weekend... make it a safe one!

14.01.2022 Big Bear decided the best way he can help Allan at the moment is to sell his furniture. Al's down sizing so everything has to go this weekend! Big Bear's checked out all the items & some need a bit of love like the desk needs a new colour scheme & fabrics need a clean to remove marks but he's taken that into account & tried to put a fair price on things. Big Bear's listed individual prices below next to items available or he reckons he'd talk Al into letting the lot go for... $950. That's a pretty good price to set someone up with pretty much all the furniture & appliances they'll need. Big Bear needs to sell it all this weekend to help Al so he's hoping his fans will help & share away! Pick up is from Wingham & needed this weekend. 10.01.2022 For lovers of Not a Café... Sharing some memories with you before I make some new ones.
