Being involved with government; with sports; and even with science, we have seen firsthand how the truth gets buried. The media controls what it wants the public the know and only what it wants the public to know. What organisations with money pay the media to tell you. We are also sick to death of hearing people abuse other people for sending their horse/dog/cat etc to the vet to be humanely euthanised. 9/10 there is a reason that horse is at the horse sales or doggers yard. Or that dog is at the vets. And 9/10 euthanasia is the kindest option then you taking on something that can't be saved. Health issues you know nothing about. #notatmytrack

14.01.2022 In 2013, the Western Black Rhino was officially declared extinct. One thing that being involved with racing greyhounds has shown me, is that there are so many people who put their energy into bullying, cyber bulling and trolling when their energy could go into something worthwhile. Clearly these people have the time on their hands to make a difference. Instead of bullying each other, how about putting the pressure on the right governments to properly protect our endangered animals globally?? There are far greater causes out there that need assistance instead of donating hundreds of thousands of dollars to so called rescue agencies that then spend the money on themselves and not the animals they claim to assist. Just look at all of the NFP animal charities of late that have been found guilty of fraud. #notatmytrack #sayNOtobullying

09.01.2022 As the activists start ramping up their efforts against Oakbank Easter racing, here's some food for thought from a former Anti-Jumps racing protester we had the privilege of meeting a few weeks ago. 'How can people even think about trusting an anti-racing activist when we were snuck into the back of Oakbank race course and encouraged to hide next to the jumps and then jump out and deliberately scare the horses to intentionally cause injury just so we could further our argume...nt against jumps racing? I thought the protest would just be people standing around chanting and waving signs to raise awareness. After experiencing that first hand, I've turned my back on all anti-protestors.' Makes you wonder at how much these people really care about the animals and just what some of these people will do to further their own argument. #notatmytrack
