25.01.2022 Well, hello everyone! I trust you are all well and staying safe in this bloody weird time. Feels a bit more daunting than back in March, with the resurgence of the horrible covid 19 bug. Anyways, Im no expert so Ill just stay quiet about that. ... Im home, healing. Moving well but have a few more weeks to go before I return to work. Gawd I miss you all!! I think Chonka Bong and Chandler Bing (theyre my cats for those of you that havent been here and met them before) are loving having their bellies rubbed and all the snuggles on the couch. Its keeping my hands busy and my mind rested. How great are pets for mental health hey? Anyways, heres a brief vid. Please note that if I haven’t seen you in a long time and you have new injury, information, medical history that I need to document that and it will require a little bit of time. Please also note that treat...ment of your whole body may not be able to be completed. Have a think about what is a priority to you and we will focus on that first, any extra time can be used on other areas. * health screening forms must be complete prior to you booking and will be sent to you via SMS before your appointment time * temp check will be conducted at arrival and hand sanitizer must be used * limit of only one client and myself in the treatment room at a time. 19.01.2022 UPDATE ON REOPENING Today I will be attempting to find out whether I can reopen my home based business tomorrow as restrictions ease for regional Victoria. The clarification I need is -... * new restrictions state there are to be no visitors inside the home * can I make my home safe and separate from my treatment room by closing doors to the rest of the house and have my children use a separate entrance to my business As my treatment room is not ‘stand-alone’ to the home there is a chance I may not be able to reopen. I will be ensuring I cover all bases when I am on the phone in order to gain clarity about opening tomorrow. To say I’m frustrated right now is in understatement. As soon as I receive some answers, I will let you know. 16.01.2022 Its been 6 months since these towels have had anyone on them and the time has come to give them a freshen up so theyre crisp and clean and smelling of sunshine for you all. Yep, Ill be back treating you all very soon! With restrictions lifting its time to warm my hands up and get rid of some of your aches and pains again!... I will be announcing the whens and hows of my return to treatments before the weekend ends. Theres a few little loose ends I have to tie up before I can open up for bookings but I will detail all of it in an email, of which I will also post here for those that havent had a treatment with me yet and arent on the emailing list. I replied to him too bad, It’s staying like that Chonka Bong merely said ‘Bing’s a very sad cat’. Well Chandler Bing overheard And didn’t like Bong’s dob He called out Chonka Bong For being a snob. The relief of aches, the ‘stop and just lay there’ feeling, the warm oil, the care I felt from my therapist, the direct treatment of my knots (trigger points), the increases in my movement, the conversation, the quiet times, the whole massage. What do you love about your massages?

Complete the weekend with some grocery shopping, curried sausage pie-making to pop into the freezer, chicken Ceasar salad for dinner and just sat down after vacuuming the house. Phew!! 05.01.2022 Something different today. Not the usually massage related post but it’s related to something that comes up frequently in the treatment room. I’m going to call this Thingo Thursday ... Thingo Thursday will be something that we’ve chat about in the treatment room. It may be a podcast, a variety of cheese, a Netflix recommendation, a great recipe or just something that’s sparked a great conversation. For our first post it’ll be wine related. This wine has been mentioned to me a few times now so I had to take one for the team and give it a try. . I can’t recommend a Thingo on Thursday if I haven’t checked it out myself. So tonight I’ve purchased a bottle of Fat Bastard Pinot Noir on the recommendation of Alex. Thank you Alex. This is a lovely wine. Paired with some cheese and salami of course. Now I’m no connoisseur of wines to describe it to you all, but if I like it, I’ll definitely say that you should too! 05.01.2022 Hi everyone! Can I please remind you all to reply to the appointment reminder messages you will receive the day before your appointment. These messages are automatically generated by my booking system and are sent to you at approx 10.30am the day before. This give you time to respond yes or to cancel or reschedule if needed and allows me to offer the time to someone else if you can’t make it. ... Your reply to the appointment reminder also prompts my booking system to send you the Covid health screening form which MUST be completed before you enter my home for your treatment. This is a regulation set by DHHS. If you haven’t completed the health screening form, I cannot provide your message. I have had a few people over the past weeks that haven’t replied and a couple that haven’t turned up to their appointment. If you don’t receive an appointment reminder message, you haven’t completed your booking online and therefore do not have a booking. Please check your emails or messages for the correct day and time of your booking. Successful op yesterday, lots of pain meds all afternoon and night, a little restless but slept well considering.... Recovery begins now. Im showered, dressed and up and about today, no cords attached to me!! Woo hoo! One more sleep before Im home again. Not sure how many sleeps before I start treating you all again. 03.01.2022 Here we go.... head hurts and my heart breaks to announce today that I wont be opening Note to self - massage therapy for the next 6 weeks, or until this virus is well and truly under control. I thank everyone that continues to support my small biz and my mask making at This Little Piggy Stayed Home... Its been another difficult decision to make but I simply wont put myself at risk despite all of the DHHS hygiene protocols put in place since the first wave of covid 19, and continually being updated as more about the virus is understood. I will reopen, when I feel comfortable to do so. Please understand my decision. I know we all love massage and I anticipate many sore people as we all resume working, studying, exercising at home again.
