13.01.2022 Hello NBN fans and all Netball fans. As you maybe aware our wonderful host Mel had stage 4 brain cancer and typically she has handled this in her extremely positive way. She is currently undertaking Chemotherapy and is doing well.... She has a long road ahead but she is doing all she can to not let it beat her. Her beautiful sister is taking part in this walk and it would be wonderful if you can donate to this. Mel has given a great deal to Netball and Women’s Football. 08.01.2022 Hello all SFNL Netball fans. It’s not too late to donate to this. Those that have already a huge thanks for that. A quick update about Mel.... Unfortunately the cancer is now on the other side of her brain and it’s stage 4 and growing quickly. The surgeons will not operate for fear of what could happen to her. At the moment she can’t have chemotherapy as her blood counts are not good. So please donate if you have not as this brain cancer is awful. Mel will do her very best to fight this in her way.
