13.01.2022 Congratulations to Notre Dame Theatre student Audrey Poor for taking out the Judges Award at this years South West Shorts Festival. Audrey was one of six finalists in the competition which involves playwrights from across Perth and the South-West writing scripts based on life in the region. Audreys winning script was brought to life last weekend at the new HEART Auditorium in Margaret River.

Last Friday, 41 students graduated from the Broome Campus, with 26 attending in person and bringing families, fr...iends, and loved ones to join in celebrating their outstanding achievements. The Student Farewell Address was delivered by Kylie Whitehurst (Bachelor of Nursing), the first Indigenous Graduate from the EN/BN program. She was chosen as Farewell speaker due to her commitment to student life and her willingness to assist others to learn particularly in the clinical skills environment, and her interpersonal skills in the clinical setting. "My journey has consisted of some hard times," Kylie said, "There have been obstacles and tears, but mainly it has been an adventure in learning which Im truly grateful to have experienced. Moving forward, we need to remember the values taught to us here at Notre Dame. Congratulations to the graduating class, may the next part of your journey be filled with happiness and success. Sachi conquered her fear of public speaking to present her talk on how she turned her passion for photography, food and coffee into her very own business, Lenspresso photography. Were doing lots of corporate work at the moment including headshots, events, promo videos, running LinkedIn accounts and business pages, as well as food and coffee photography, Sachi says. I loved having this opportunity to push me out of my comfort zone and do something I never believed I could!

Collaborating with students from Sacred Heart University, this two-week intensive program gave graduating Nursing students the opportunity to expand their professional network and leadership skills in a global context.
