22.01.2022 Hi everyone hope you are all keeping well in these very interesting times . Just wanted to let you all know Ill be closed next week on Monday , Tuesday , Wednesday and Friday . And lastly can I just ask that you all make sure your dogs are very secure . Ive seen a few lately with very loose collars and harnesses and a couple have got away from their owners which is very very scary considering there is a busy road near by. I would like to take this time to thank you all so very much for you support throughout this very strange year . You have all been so understanding . 19.01.2022 Lets talk about those nasty itchy bugs called fleas!!! First off now is a great time to get on top of treating your pets for fleas, as the weather warms up fleas grow and multiply faster than in winter. Did you know a single female adult flea can lay up to 50 eggs in a day!!!... Fleas life cycle has four stages. Egg, larva, pupae and adult which can take 21 days from egg to adult flea. Fleas dont just live on pets they live in dirt, grass and even in your carpet, beds, between floor boards even in your car! Which means just treating your pet is not enough! Its the adult flea that lives on your pet not the eggs, larva or pupae. So vacuuming will collect eggs, larva and pupae (make sure to empty the vacuum cleaner) wash bedding in hot water. Flea bombs can also help in the house and even in the car. Those annoying creatures can jump 150 times there body size. They also carry other parasites like tapeworm. Some pets can also be allergic to the saliva of a flea which causes them intense itch to the point they rip open there own skin, it will cause inflammation which then can make a secondary infection like ear inflections. Which will result in veterinary care. (One of my dogs suffer from this, and its horrible to see. ) So please keep on top of your flea treatments.

Natalie who is from muddy paws dog grooming. Will be taking over, Natalie has many experienced years in grooming, who is a fantastic groomer I might add. Huge thank you to everyone who had there puppies groomed during the month of Nov, and special thanks to those that donated extra. We raised $165 in total. Thank you!!!!

09.01.2022 Hi, this will be my last post. I just want to say a huge thank you for all the ongoing support I have received over the last nine yrs of my grooming career, so many of you have seen me grow into the adult and groomer I have become, as Ive seen your puppies grow up and into there senior yrs, Ive also had the pleasure in watching your kids and grandkids grow up too. As I leave to start my new chapter where ever that might be, Im overwhelmed with excitement and sadness, I w...ill miss each and everyone I have had the pleasure to meet, and Im honoured that I was allowed to groom all your dogs, which all hold a special place in my heart. Thank you! I can not say thank you enough. If it was not for you all, I would have never succeed. Special thanks to all that helped me out in the beginning to give me my start and the ongoing support from my partner and my mum. 09.01.2022 Hi, I thought I would introduce Natalie to everyone. Natalie is a qualified groomer with over 18 years grooming experience. She owned and ran muddy paws mobile dog grooming for many years. She is also a qualified nutritionist and has had experience doing vet nursing whilst working as a groomer at a vet clinic. She has shown and bred golden retrievers for 25 years and Staffordshire Bull terriers for 11 years . She is also an active member of the bacchus marsh obedience club. Natalie is extremely passionate about dogs and their health and well-being and thoroughly enjoys not only grooming but caring and understanding these precious fur babies. She is very excited to take on the salon and is looking forward to meeting each and everyone of you .
