I often get asked how to have a cacao ceremony. All that is required is your open heart, your intention and creating a space to bring your intention to life. 18.01.2022 According to the planetary energetics, Sunday is ruled by the Sun and is the day for relaxation, connection and grounding. Got housework, groceries, work to do on a weekend? Do it on a Saturday . A Sunday morning for me is generally quite slow, technology free and as meditative as possible. For the rest of the day, I aim to embed meditative activities throughout. For me, meditation can look like... ... ~ a walk on the beach ~ sitting in a park ~ reading a book in the sun ~ time with family ~ cooking And my fav .. gardening! There’s just something about gardening . The connection to nature, getting my hands dirty and the satisfaction that it feels as if I’m growing something myself - witnessing it throughout all its growth stages! And, gardening is not only meditative but in a sense is me living as if. I dream of one day manifesting a beautiful house on a large property where we grow all of our own vegetables. So, by starting like this, I’m showing the Universe that I’m ready! I’m invoking the vibration and energy of that experience in my current reality. Empowering others to remember what ritual feels and looks like for them, is my greatest passion. Life is ritual and it is a celebration. The teachings throughout this post on daily planetary energetics, living ‘as if’ for manifesting and determining what ‘meditation’ looks like for you, are all tools I love to weave throughout my mentoring. 13.01.2022 Ever since I started my business, I’ve had a mentor. But that doesn’t mean that I didn’t have any resistance towards working with one - of course I did! Growth is always uncomfortable and when we are about to expand into our next level of greatness, our ego wants to keep us safe and small, often telling us that we don’t need a mentor and we can do it all ourselves. Let me tell you, the women that I’ve been speaking with over the past week or so are absolutely more than c...apable of connecting with their intuition through certain rituals and practices such as journaling, mediation and a morning routine. The women I work with are brave, ambitious, intuitive and sensitive and they are sovereign beings who know who they are. But sometimes there’s simply a deep yearning, a deep knowing within telling us we would thrive with more ease, flow and power if we had someone else holding space for us. My role as a mentor is not to tell you what to do, it’s to hold space for you as you deepen your intuition and reawaken parts of yourself that have perhaps been lost or forgotten amongst the chaos of life. It’s to walk you home, guide you home and hold you accountable for stepping into your highest potential - to call you UP and OUT when you need it most. I will see and hold all of you, empowering you to express the parts of you that are powerful and potent and perhaps not being shown enough and also to witness the parts that are no longer serving your highest good. 04.01.2022 I often get asked what classifies this strain of cacao as ‘ceremonial’. Why is it even called ceremonial grade cacao? Well, there’s a few pieces of criteria that need to be fulfilled for cacao to be considered ceremonial.... 1. It must be produced from native strains, being either the Criollo strain from Guatemala (the strain we use) or the Chuncho strain from Peru. This is important as there is no human intervention with the harvesting and cultivation practices; the ...cacao is wildly grown and therefore highly concentrated (necessary for ceremony). 2. Ceremonial grade cacao never undergoes heavy processing as the entire bean is utilised (ensuring the natural compounds are preserved and contained) and ground down by hand (no heavy machinery!). 3. The land, the farmers and the cacao itself are treated and cultivated with respect. The cacao is organically grown using sustainable practices and promotes above favourable conditions for farmers. These native strains of cacao have been used for thousands of years by Mayan cultures and yes, it is a plant medicine. It has been ignored in the past as a plant medicine as it doesn’t act like a psychedelic but as stated by Keith Wilson... it does not take you on its trip but facilitates your own. When consumed with an intention, ceremonial grade cacao awakens our intuition and allows us to live from the heart, rather than the head. It’s a beautiful companion for meditation, creative projects and connecting with yourself and others. Ultimately I believe that ceremonial grade cacao welcomes you back to your intrinsic self, providing love, clarity and guidance.
