20.01.2022 If your busy weekend means you didnt meal prep, at least you always have this quick and easy go to that required no prep time! Naturally high in fibre, protein... and healthy fats, low sugar and carbs choose raw... not roasted! If you find nuts impact your digestion try soaking/activating them. Phytates present in nuts and seeds can cause digestive issues and inhibit the absorption of some minerals. Soaking them in filtered water 'activates' them, removing the phytic acid. You can then consume them wet or dry them in a dehydrator or very slow oven. Keep in the fridge and if leaving them wet they are best eaten quickly - they will grow mould..eew! 06.01.2022 Change it up all the time! Ladies, keep changing things up! Do something different. Get out of the rut you are in! If you always have E breakfasts - change it up and have an S. Or if you always have S, change it and have some E's.... Change your porridge. You don't always have to have rolled oats. Try Steel Cut Oats! Or Quinoa porridge. Quinoa porridge is so quick! Cook up a batch, portion it into bags and freeze. then simply take it out that night after tea and defrost it in the fridge ready for y our Quinoa Porridge in the morning. If you have porridge, change the protein - have yogurt sometimes and other times have cottage cheese. Keep changing things up!! Try banana slices, sprinkled with cinnamon and a tsp of nut butter on sourdough toast with a side serving of Greekie Swirl - a beautiful E.

05.01.2022 Boast post! John wanted a pizza oven so we bought a Roccbox, which was great but... Anyone who knows John knows he always had to improve things, make them bigger and better. So he built a pizza oven. And a little shed to house it (to protect it from the elements). We fire it up every weekend to cook pizza (of course) but then we (okay I'm lying, I don't do anything. John and Abigail do it all) bake breads and roast a large slab of meat and roast a ton of veggies to feed us all for the rest of the weekend. This is why you'll see lots of photos of pizza.
