24.01.2022 What is your first thought when you see these? Is it fat? Sugar? Calories? Weight gain? You might instantly look at these biscuits and automatically label them as unhealthy. What would you see if I told you they’re made from good fats, no refined sugar, protein, and fibre? Would you think something different then? It’s so sad that society, and the diet culture has taught us to second guess what we eat, and count calories, even if it means consuming something that is s...o highly processed our body’s can’t even digest it! At the end of the day, if it’s healthy, and provides our body with nutrients, promotes good gut health, and other essentials that could even help protect our body from disease (yep I said it!), what else could you ask for? 13.01.2022 . ? Bone broth is rich in collagen. I know, I know, here I go again. But seriously, collagen is so bloody good for you! ... Collagen is highly beneficial for supporting overall gut health, aiding digestion, and can even help improve sleep. It’s best taken in the morning on an empty stomach so there’s nothing in the way to hinder absorption. It’s also great to use in soups, stews or family dinners in replacement of stocks. 01.01.2022 @proteinsuppliesaustralia always make sugar free baking simple, delicious, oh and crap free, no nasties!! These choc collagen cookies are honestly amazing, and such a great snack. ... Ingredients 3/4 cup oat flour (or oat’s processed in the food processor) 2 Tablespoons coconut sugar 2 heaped tablespoons cocao powder 1/4 cup tapioca flour/startch 1/4 cup melted coconut oil + 1-2 extra tablespoons 1 serve (3 tablespoons) @proteinsuppliesaustralia vanilla collagen powder 1 teaspoon baking powder Method 1. Preheat oven to 160*c. 2. Add all of the ingredients to a food process (except for the extra 2 tablespoons of coconut oil), and blitz on high speed to combine. 3. Depending on how dry or wet your mix is, you may not need to add the extra coconut oil. I added an extra 1 tablespoon. 4. Roll mixture into seperate cookie balls (approx 1 tbs per cookie), and place on a lined baking tray. Don’t worry if the mixture is a little wet, it will dry out in the oven. 5. Ensure your cookie dough has enough space, because they do expand in the oven. I used two baking trays. 6. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes, and allow to cool completely. If you are keen to get on the sugar free baking train, and still enjoy your cakes, and biscuits, you can use my discount code Roxy15 and grab yourself some too! There’s 3 flavours! See more
